I ordered the Rainbow Roll and the first thing I noticed was the rice: it was hard, crunchy and had no taste, meaning they... didn't add enough water/didn't accommodate for the high humidity levels we've been having lately. They also didn't use the sushirice seasoning. 2nd thing was the huge chunk of imitation crab in it; most places will TAKE THE TIME to dice it up so it doesn'toverpower the roll because that's all I was able to taste; I won't order from here again because it seems to be an ongoingproblem with their rice ?????????? We loved the sushi here! It's difficult to find decent sushi in El Paso, and this place has some of the best we've tried yet!... The specials on Monday and Tuesday, Wednesday are great and the beer prices are fantastic as well. Beto was very kind andhelpful, and we will definitely be coming back soon. Read more
My husband and I love sushi and try to go to different places in El Paso to find the best. We honestly believe this place is not... using sushi rice in their sushi due to how dense and compact it is that it feels like dough. There is some flavor in there, butif you don't have dipping sauces then it's to bland. The caterpillar roll (the one on the left) had a what it looked to be paperon the outside of the roll under the avocado.The staff is friendly and and will answer any question you may have, but they willforget about you if you don't try to get their attention. Ordered sushi from Kaizen from the first time last night. 2 spicy tuna rolls 1 California roll 1 El Dorado roll The only good... roll was the California roll. Spicy tuna rolls were so bland, not spicy like traditionally marinated Spicy tuna. Instead thetuna was bland and had Spicy mayo rolled into it. The rolls looked like they were made by someone who was new to it and didn'thave much experience rolling. The El Dorado roll was the biggest disappointment, as you can see in the picture. The roll wascovered with pieces of plastic wrap into the Spicy mayo sauce. Thankfully my husband didn't choke on it but after thisexperience we will never order from them again. Read more
Food is delicious!! But service is horrible! I been twice to this restaurant but the service both times was horrible!!! Went... here for the first with my toddler who is 3 years old And my wife Order a couple sushi rolls and nuggets for my kid. They tookalmost 1 hour and 30 minutes to bring the nuggets when we order them as an Appetizer because my Kid was really hungry! All thefood was deliver to us but the nuggets didn't! After checking on the status for the order of nuggets waitress stated that theywhere making them! When the nuggets arrived 1 hour after all the food the nuggets where burn !!! Like they forgot and try tofried them fast as possible. The second time was my wife and me We arrived to the place! They weren't busy either like the lasttime. Sit down and order drinks, Order appetizers and couple of sushi rolls Rolls and drinks arrived But appetizer and ricedidn't arrive until 1 hour from the other food arriving! What kind of services is this ??? We order food to eat everythingtogether Not wait 1 hour in between meals and appetizers Are not appetizer are to be served before the main meal??
