Look I've been to Jamaican restaurants all over Texas except Dallas. Hands down best Jamaican food I've ever had in Texas. I... walked in with those ox tails on my mind and placed my order. I'm used to long waits when it comes to Caribbean food so this wasnothing new. Man when I tell you that meat was fall off the bone delicious and tender. I got so stuffed the owner actually cameout and patted me on my back and told me it was ok.... I didn't have to eat all the food at once. Bruh after the ox tails I hadmy mind set on the curried goat. Lord Jesus the next day I came back and ordered the curried goat I was in foodie heaven. Aslong as I'm out here in El Paso for work they will be getting my money no matter what. Located in the... heart of El Paso Texas where the mountain views are breathtaking, the culture is rich, friendly, and inviting. I havediscovered an El Paso gem that is truly a remarkable experience. From the second I walked in the door, the colors came to lifein a cool environment taking me back in time where I could hear the music and ocean as I stepped inside. The hypnotic smell ofthe food made me relaxed and at home. The walk from the door to counter made me look around where people were not able to puttheir food down. As I approached the counter I saw the beef patties, and before the owner could say anything I asked for ajuicy beef patty and spicy sauce…. The patty is a crispy on the outside, the great beef and spice flavor made my mouth waterand made me dance. Then came this amazing homemade drink that goes perfect with the patty. As I was finishing my patty, thehot food came that tingled all my senses, it is the perfect smell of spices, meats, rice, beans, vegetables and everything elsethat in in there, and from the first bit I was not able to put the fork down. This is truly an El Paso’s cultural gems. Theservice is amazing, the food is heavenly, the people are friendly, this is a place for a great lunch and dinner that is bound tosatisfy anyone who loves great food. Coming to make a updated review. The food was hot and fresh today and the staff was very friendly. I got oxtails, rice and peas,... veggies & beef patties with a passion fruit drink. My kids had the curry chicken. They were pleased and well enough portions offood we are stuffed. I appreciate it. ???? Read more

Food is ok but the professionalism isnt there. I called and asked if there was a wait and was told no. Got there and asked if... there was a wait for jerk chicken and was still told no. And then had to wait 17 minutes for it to be put in a to go container??????????? thats a wait. Theres no real menu posted so you dont know what comes with what and cant know how much you will bepaying until they ring it up and charge you. They have a website with an online menu that I discovered the next day but mentionsno entrees so it wouldnt have been of any use anyway plus items I was told they dont carry are listed there. Good as h*ll. I haven't found anything delicious to eat in El Paso since I moved here, but that has come to an end. Good food.... Great portions and terrific value. I want to bring my family here when they visit. Great experience and I will be back. I gotthe jerk chicken with cabbage, rice and peas, and pasta salad. Tough finding parking though. Read more
