I love Famous Dave's. The food is always good. It's always tasty, hot, and served with a smile. The staff is friendly,... knowledgeable and helpful. They don't give me the stinkeye when I ask for a baked potato with no butter, no sour creme, nocheese, but add brisket. They're very accommodating. Really good place to eat. The ambiance is relaxing and cheery. Read more

First visit we had a very attentive and quick server, second time we were not so lucky. Founder's Feast was more than enough... food with great meats. All were flavorful and juicy. But the Corn Bread Muffin knocked me into tomorrow. Not sure why. It wasfluffy and moist and just tasted great. Maybe there was too much meat and a change to the palate was needed. Read more
Sat in their comfort zone visiting El Paso looking for a place to eat. Had heard about these barbecue spots across the country... but have never eaten it one. I had read some reviews about the location in the past. Thought I'd go ahead and check it outmyself. Saturday night kind of crowded but I got right in no waiting. But it's going to be that was with a 6:00 arrival time.Friendly staff at the front that's seated me my waitress was very friendly. Order the brisket and barbecue chicken with mac andcheese and beans. The food overall was okay. A big chain restaurant like this is going to have a hard time competing for mypalate with local barbecue places in San Antonio. I've tried it, it was okay. Would I eat here again probably not because I'mjust spoiled with San Antonio barbecue. But I always tell people to try it themselves they may like it for me it was just okay Read more
