The Nopal asado is the best. Healthy Mexican food overall.
Excellent spot but will never go back. There's 2 waitresses Griselda and Hilda who are sisters and have history of credit card... fraud ( Griselda's son has pending charges of credit card fraud..etc ( he obtained a senior citizens credit card w/opermission.) I saw them and made sure I paid with cash!! Get rid of them and I will definitely be back! That is not the endeither these two grown ladies have history of breaking car windows so does that son of Griselda's. I was Disgusted when I sawthat both work at this fantastic restaurant who is all about helping out women in need of help and a job.*** This restaurantactually hires women who are struggling and need help but yet some of these old women probably deserve it with theirbehaviors/actions towards other women !! I absolutely love this place. We had a delicious lunch and did some shopping afterwards. I ordered the nopal relleno de queso,... which was delicious, and my teenager had the sopa azteca which was also tasty. I appreciate that the portion sizes were justright we had enough to eat to feel full but didn't have any food that needed to be thrown out or taken home. We got a package ofInanna's delight herbal tea and I've been enjoying it! We browsed the little shop after our meal and found some beautiful items(alebrije earrings from Oaxaca and a bookmark from Chihuahua.) I can't wait to come back for future visits. Read more
Run by women, hard working women. Kitchen is nice, great mexican taste, they care about others, there' a little museum, gallery... and shop. You can have a Jamaica flower glass of fresh water, and read a good book while waiting for your order. Yes, they giveaway free books. Usually there are cultural events on weekends or afternoons, live music, and people gathering to have a goodtime, sharing good vibes. Read more
