My husband and I and two friends from out of town went to have dinner at Café Italia on Cimmaron. After we waited for a table... of four we felt very rushed by the server as well as the owner of the restaurant, who is hovering over a number of tables. Icould tell that he was instructing his servers to rush the patrons of his restaurant while coming frequently to ask if we neededanything, removing our plates, and giving us our check before requested. Needless to say our dining experience was less thanoptimal and although I think the pizza is good, being rushed through dinner is not my idea of going out. There are manyrestaurants that serve pizza on the west side or this is not our experience. Be advised that this is what we also haveexperienced at his restaurant on Mesa. Read more

El Paso definitely isn?t know for its Italian food. However, Cafe Italia is the exception to the rule. The food, atmosphere, and... service are always out of this world. I love coming here to hangout with friends, or even go on a romantic outing. I definitelyrecommend it. Read more

Great food. Everything here is either very good or great. Service is ok. Wine selection is not. But they have a corkage fee so... you can bring your own. Big plus! Read more

Arrived when it opened, no issues with seating at 11:30. Was seated and drink order taken immediately. Ordered pane rustica... with ice tea and lemon tart for dessert. Food was ok, I don?t think it was worth the price. The prosciutto did not have muchflavor, I think a cheap version was used. Bread was warm and fresh. Recommend changing the lemon tart to lemon cheesecake. Read more

Food here is very good. Especially loved the Margherita. But the service and the environment doesn?t seem to match the food. The... menu is saying upscale Italian. The environment is saying American bistro. Also, drink menu is very limited?no wine by theglass. $8 bottle fee to bring your own. Worth a try! I might do take out next time. Read more

I had an excellent lunch here with my mom. We ordered a pizza and roasted Veggie appetizer that was super yummy. They have a... limited selection of wine, and I believe you still have the option to bring your own with a small bottle service fee. We triedthe local red wine and liked it quite a lot. Read more
