If you are looking for the best elegant date night and don't mind spending at least $150 for 2 people then give this place a... try. The interior is absolutely stunning as well as the wait staff. They have a purse stand and we were presented with a caseof different knives to pick from to use for our dinner! The food was delicious and we enjoyed their drink selection. My husband and I went for our anniversary and it was an amazing experience! This was fine dinning at it's best in El Paso! I had... made reservations through Open Table and had put on the notes we were celebrating our anniversary. Upon arriving everyone knewwe were celebrating our anniversary. They made us feel very welcomed. The girl showing us to our table made us a personalizedcard wishing us Happy Anniversary. The personal mini coat/purse rack was an added bonus. Our waiter was on point, along with thegentleman letting us choose from a selection of breads and even the other gentleman allowing us to choose from also fromselection of knives. Went here on Christmas eve for a great dinner before checking out the lights downtown. I started with a glass of port wine and... the Rockefeller oysters. I was served some very yummy jalapeño cornbread while I awaited my appetizer. My main course was theA5 waygu steak with their potatoesau gratin($140). It does come with a good price tag to eat here but was definitely yummy. Ijust wish the service was a bit more. I was seated at my table for my reservation 5 minutes early. However I did not get askedif I would like a drink or appetizer for 20 minutes. There was only 2 other tables seated at the time. One was a large familyand then a couple. There were plenty of staff walking around but took forever to even get my drink ordered. It was anotheremployee who finally asked if I would like anything when I answered I would like to order then I finally saw my waiter again.That was the only down side I found to the place. This is quite the dining experience. The space is opulent and gorgeous. You can definitely feel the history. The hotel where... this restaurant is at was built in 1914. Lots of historical figures and Hollywood stars stayed here. The menu offered dishesI?ve never heard of before so I ordered them. Bone Marrow baked and served with pickled mustard seeds, grilled toast and creamdots. I would come back here again just to eat this again. Amazing! I also ordered fried olives; they?re excellent.
