One of my new favorite chicken restaurants in Nor Cal. The chicken was cooked to perfection, and the skin had an amazing crust.... The medium heat paired well with the sandwich option and some sauce. The Mac and cheese super creamy and good. I would highlyrecommend this to anyone !! Read more

Roostarz is definitely the place in El Dorado to satiate your spicy chicken sanwhich needs. The sliders are a whole sandwhich!... They include a full chicken breast with savory house sauce. The jungle fries are also absolutely delicious ????.The staff isvery friendly, helpful, and just as hot as their sandwiches ????! Plus they have tons of games to play in restaurant! Read more

Pros- food taste amazing!! Fresh and so much flavor. Hugeee portions! 1 plate can feed 2. Cons- pricey! It cost about $20 for a... meal and that?s without a drink. Mac n cheese is $6 and it?s just a small container of it- very overpriced and nothing specialin flavor. You?d end up spending close to $100 for a group of 4 which is pricey but the food quality & customer service isawesome! Read more

This is one of our families favorite places to eat and we?ve referred a number of friends and family as well and no complaints... so far. The experience is always great and the food is amazing! We even went to Nashville a couple months ago and the Nashvillehot chicken there wasn?t nearly as good as Roostarz and we have the benefit of not having to travel more than a few minutes toenjoy it. You can get two renders for $17, a tender and a slider for $19 (what's in the picture) or two sliders for $21. The two... differences are that you get a bun with the slider instead of a piece of bread and there is some handmade slaw with the sliderthat you don't get with the tender. The Slaw is good, but not sure it's worth $2, so I'd recommend getting the two tender meal(#3) if you are looking for the best value. The tenders are not crispy as I was expecting due to the rub that makes it hot. Youwill need to use the bread, as holding a tender directly with your fingers will give you orange "cheeto fingers" covered inrub. Overall I was full for $25, the food was flavorful and there was nothing inherently wrong with any of it (I'm giving 4stars after all) but it didn't stand out enough with the other chicken sandwich restaurants in the area to make me want to comeback. Cooked to order not frozen moist white meat chicken sandwich ?slider?very tasty. Medium level ?feel the heat? was quite spicy so... I?m happy I?d didn?t choose hotter. Fries included a mayonnaise based dipping sauce. Sandwich topped with juicy coleslaw. I wentcheese-less. To gain five-star status the bun needs an update, it was like something from the supermarket. Outdoor seating withview of the parking lot so I could have my dog LuLu with me. Young woman at the counter took my order and was helpful explainingthe limited menu with efficiently and a smile.
