Very nice restaurant, we were seated quickly. Well decorated and has a steakhouse feel. We had the rib eye steak and the... shrimp tacos. The menús were good but I feel they could've offered more options for being a high end steakhouse. The drinkswere well made and delicious. The rib eye had great flavor and the doneness i asked for was perfect. But I feel for the pricethe steak could've been a thicker cut as well as a better grade. The potatoes and asparagus were cooked well and not overcooked. Our waitress checked in on us a good intervals while still letting us enjoy our dinner. If you have an opportunity tovisit sonora fusión try it, it's not on the low end of the price spectrum but worth it. Read more

The place is small but beautifully decorated with a relaxing atmosphere. When you enter there is a collection of aging meats... that look pretty great. The wait staff were attentive and friendly. The food? the food was Mid. I started with guacamole andchips. The chips had cheese and beans on them which is fine but you could tell the plate had been microwaved by the way thecheese and beans looked. My main entree were the Tripa tacos for $18. 3 tacos for $18. Do the math. The tortillas were cold andthe tripas were dry and chilled. My wife had the shrimp tacos and she really liked them. The margaritas samplers wereoverwhelming sweet. I had a Chavela that had too much Ice and got watery. Oh the chairs are rock hard as well. We forgot to make a reservation so we had to sit at the bar. The bartender was extremely friendly and attentive. The margaritas... were perfectly done. And the meats were perfectly seasoned, tender and moist. No extra seasoning or sauces needed. The onlything I would say is that the other staff didn't ask us if we needed anything when the bartender went on break although we weretold that the shift manager would come by to check on us. I had date night here with my wife for the first time and it was definitely a good idea to try this place out. The restaurant... was small but beautiful inside and out and not only was the food delicious but the atmosphere and lighting really made datenight feel extra special. Everything has that freshly made on an open flame grill taste which is always by far the best flavor.The lobster is not on the menu and you have to ask for it but it's definitely worth asking for. The shrimp was by far the mostdelicious I've EVER had. It was grilled with an amazing garlic sauce that had a little heat to it. I could order an entireplatter of just that shrimp alone! Drink wise all the mixed drinks were beautiful and delicious, the only drink I didn't carefor was the chavella. I can taste that it was made with bloody Mary mix and not an authentic house made mix which turned me offtowards that drink but everything else was delicious with the right amount of alcohol. The customer service was amazing, verypolite, quick to get you anything you ask for, and very knowledgeable of the meals in English and in Spanish. There were only 2dessert options that did not seem pleasant so my wife and I ended up going to cold stone afterwards. Although the prices werehigh I still give them a 5 star because it's like they say, you pay for what you get and it was worth it. Definitely and placefor special occasions. I'll most likely come back for my anniversary. In a city with not a lot of diversity, this restaurant brings a lot to offer. A delicious steakhouse that carries quality steaks... that are good sizes is perfect to have in the Imperial Valley. We came with a group of about 10 after a shift of work and theytook us in without hesitation. Here we have some bone marrow that's big and buttery paired with some delicious drinks for thetable.
