I cant believe i have lived by this place almost 8 years and just tried it. The staff is super nice, its a quaint set up inside... to sit about 20 people. The food was a great value and food portions. I purchased the family meal special for $32 which waspepperoni pizza 6 slices, half order of lasagna, half order of spaghetti and meat balls and half order of meat ravioli withgarlic bread and antipasto salad for $32. First time here. Saw lots of good reviews before I went, so I decided to try it out. The place is nice, a little small but... quaint. Staff was very friendly and had good service. I only ordered homemade spaghetti to go, but I was disappointed. Theydrenched it in meat sauce. You can't taste the noodles or the meatball or anything. Would like to go back but a littleskeptical. Mamma Rosa Italian Restaurant has excellent service and AC and a clean restaurant to eat in. This was a great place for us to... sit down in a cool restaurant. it was 95 outside and 70 inside. You get more food than you can eat and excellent garlic bread!We went with the Antipasti Salad and Lasagna came with minestrone soup. Read more
The food is fantastic here. We come every few months. Service is good for the most part, but what just happened has left a very... bad taste in my mouth. We called ahead to ensure they could accommodate our group size prior to packing the six kids and mymother into the car and were told it would be no problem. We arrived (at the time we gave) to find they had given our table toanother party. Instead of giving me some idea of how long we may have to wait, I was left waiting out on the bench with mydaughter with no communication. Finally we approached the hostess/waitress only to be met with a shrug and a ?the table is onlyon salads? comment. Suffice to say we will probably wait awhile before returning and had to go in search of another place toeat (at 6pm) with the kids in tow. Read more
