This place has the best gyro meat, chicken, fries, rice, potato salad, banana split, shakes, pita bread, salads I have ever... tried. EVERYTHING is really good. I?ve been coming here for years and everything is ALMOST never disappoints . The only reason Idid not give it 5 stars is because I was there a couple of weeks ago about 30 minutes before closing and went through the drivethrough, asked for a chicken pita sandwich and left the establishment. I stoped on the next block to add the sauce to thesandwich (I was hungry) and to my surprise, the pita bread was cold and hard as a rock and the chicken was cold as well anddouble wrapped in aluminum foil (I?ve had this sandwich at least 50 times over the years and this was something new) it wasclear that the sandwich had been sitting there for a while and they saw an opportunity with me to get rid of it. This had neverhappened to me so I was very shocked. Read more

Cool menu. So far my only issue is the Greek chicken salad. The chicken is supposed to be hot but it's way too cold. Salad... doesn't turn it that cold. You're just not keeping your chicken hot enough. It's probably old. Read more

I have to say that I don't quite hesitate when I want to go to places where I get great customer service. Especially if I am... trying to treat somebody I connect with to show them something as good as Greek Chicken especially if they have never had theredelicious food. I have to admit the food is good. Unfortunately I was a little embarrassed by the staff when they mistook myname as Nate. The order matched up just not the name. Now the gal I was with was super excited because she had never had thepleasure of dining at Greek Chicken. She mentioned Greek food for dinner and the light bulb clicked on. So the name mixup wasn'tmuch of a big deal. When we pulled up to the window, my date was curious if their milkshakes were made from real ice cream orfrom the same ingredients as McDonald's. The clerk at the window looked at her with an odd sort of expression and was ratherrude with her response and seemed irritated when my girl said she wanted to add it to our order. What really got me was when wegot back to my place I was really disappointed at the portions of food were uncovered. I paid over $35 for a meal that claimedto feed 2-3 people... In reality it should have stated 1 large or 2 small appetites. I remember Greek Chicken being on the moreexpensive side but having portions large enough to have second helpings and/or leftovers for the next day. Maybe it was justthis location as I had only previously ordered from the location off Bradley and Graves. Needless to say I will not be orderingfrom that location again. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the food was still packed with flavor. Read more

Food is pretty much always fresh, and they're somewhat flexible with different options for the sides and such. My mom and I... usually get grilled chicken with their Greek salads. Their dressing is delicious. The fried zucchinis are a must, and theirfries are good too. The pieces of chicken are kinda small but are always cooked to prefect, and with the salad and some fries orzucchinis, it's just right for a nice light lunch!:) Read more

Surprising place, it looks like a fast food restaurant but the food offerings are reasonably healthy and unlike any fast food... restaurant. They have sit down, drive through as well as curbside pickup. Two things I would do differently the next time I gohere. One, don't order the onion rings. I found them to have very heavy breading such that the poor onion within was dwarfedand all you can taste is the breading, which I think should be lighter in texture and unlike a thick shell. Two, ask for thedressing in your salad to be in the side as my salad items were swimming in a pool of dressing near the end of themeal. Despite these minor issues, I'd probably go there again. I wish there were more of them than just the 3 restaurants in ElCajon, Santee and Lakeside in all of San Diego County. Read more

Usually a great place to eat. Went there tonight and got two orders of fried zucchini, both of them were burnt and bitter.... Completely disgusting and inedible. Whoever cooked them saw them burnt and passed them to the window, then whoever packaged myfood saw it burnt as well and still decided to give it to me anyway. Read more
