The clerks can't take credit for the ice cream being good since they don't make it themselves. It's BR of course it's good. But... if you want a milkshake in a flavor you haven't tried yet, you don't want to make a shake and end up not liking it. So you askfor a taster to help you decide and are RUDELY told they don't do samples. I had already ordered a cone obviously I wasn't thereto graze. La Mesa operates like a real BR. The ice cream was very rich and flavorful. I enjoyed the one that was Raspberry and white chocolate. Two scoops, a waffle cone... and a cup of water turns into a great dessert and a for sure sugar rush. The prices are high but the product is good. Read more
They have signs up saying $1.70 per scoop on the 31st. She just charged me $7 for 2 scoops. When I questioned her she said they... was not doing it this month. I told her they should take the sign down if its not being honored and she said it stays up all yr. The sign does not say only in certain months it says on the 31st. Smh. Upon arriving to a very clean store along w/ a kind greeting from employee which was welcoming. We were in search of a "just... right" already made birthday cake for our daughter's 22nd BD. Although we didn't order BR cake more than 24 hours ahead, wewere happy w/ the selected cake. We also were happy to see how readable & well done the young lady did when writing thecelebratory message on the cake. The customer service was indubitably subpar, workers were boobish and showed no interest in cooperating with me and eventually... began to simply ignore me, I tried calling to ask questions about the store the call was ended quite abruptly leaving me feelingquite dissatisfied with my experience and I plan on never visiting again.
