A friend of mine told me that I have to give this place a chance as they have one of the biggest cinnamon buns she ever had. We... gave it a try and I will add to her quote that not only the cinnamon bun was huge, it was divine. The turkey sandwich was beyondamazing. Fresh, delicious, crispy bread. The hot chocolate was so delicious too. And, can we have something cooler than sittingin the balcony of a cafe in the middle of a forest in a rainy day and enjoying your food? I don?t think so! And the staff wesuper friendly. The service was so fast that you get your food as soon as you find your seat. Loved it! Read more

Gorgeous surroundings, outstanding coffee (I had two lattes each time we went there out of sheer greed), and such lovely people... and service. Despite having so much to do in the area, we spent a couple of hours at this place each morning, simply because thevibe was beautiful. Highly, highly recommend this place. Great for children and pets too! Read more

Lovely bakery tucked into the forest alongside a burbling creek. We stopped for fresh veggie sandwiches, smoothies, and... raspberry slices after hiking to Skookumchuck Narrows. Definitely recommend! Seasonally open May-September. Read more

Came here once when exploring Egmont and then had to come back every day of our holiday because the fresh baked treats were just... too good and the coffee was excellent. They offer a variety of milk options as well as some vegan and gluten freesnacks. Sitting on the deck you can watch a babbling brook as you sip your coffee. Read more

?Is that really a bakery?? At the very start of the Skookumchuck trail to see the narrows. It?s like a mirage in the Sahara... desert, only you?re not in north west Africa, you?re in Egmont, British Columbia, and it?s not a mirage it?s a bakery..... Iwish I could take this place with me everywhere I go. Honestly I do. You know when you?re travelling through places, gettingfurther and further away from hustle and bustle, expecting food and drink selections to be limited, primitive and probably quitebad. Well let me tell you something Mister (or Mrs).... This place is 10/10. i.e. zero room for improvement. The only problemis this bakery has now set such a high bar that all other remote cafes, bars, restaurants and road or hiking stops are alasforever inferior. First off have a cinnamon bun. One big one can easily be split one or four ways. I go one way. Digest. Nextbreakfast sandwich on a sourdough English muffin... I?ll never buy or consume a packeted English muffin ever again and guesswhat? I?m English. Now go for a walk (or wobble) down the trail. 8K total. Good luck with that. Walk done! And oh what?s that? The bakery again. If you have any sense you?ll go for round two. Take another cinnamon bun if there?s any left and get asandwich. The grilled cheese was filthy and the BLT was again of course the best I?ve ever had. A little touch of pesto insidethat touched my heart. The tunes are booming and the vibe was great. There?s children playing and dogs sniffing around. Bikersand hikers congregating. And everyone seems good. Maybe the happiest place on the Sunshine Coast in the summer months. A mustgo. Read more
