Amazing time today at the Towne & Country Cafe. Our sever Libby has a welcoming smile and warm personality towards every one of... the customers. This exceptional attitude is something rarely seen these days. The blueberry pancakes were light and fluffy , noneed for syrup. Two eggs sunny-side with fried home fries and rye toast were great! Pastrami Rueben open face served hot withcoleslaw, fries, and pickle reminded me of the ?down homer? diners. A great place where old and new coexist. Normally their food is delicious but today everything was either overcooked or undercooked. No one was happy with their food.... I'm sure we'll go back but not anytime soon that's for sure. Read more

You can tell locals love this place. We picked it for dinner on Friday night, I tried the special, chicken pot pie, which was... delicious, definitely home made. Hubby got the burger, also good choice. It's byob and cozy. Not fancy but comfortable. Theydon't skimp and use quality products. Worth a visit, we are going back to try the prime rib. Fantastic place for breakfast!! I'm a breakfast/diner fan and this is one of the best! Omelettes are huge, ingredients taste 1st... rate, potatoes are legit, pancakes were chalk full of blueberries, scrapple was a thick slice. Good coffee and great service.Ambiance is very plain but food is great. I'd go out of my way to get breakfast here. Hidden gem. Read more
