It's out in the middle of nowhere practically, in an old Subway sandwich shop. The decor was not impressive but the food was... excellent! Food was prepared quickly, it looked and tasted fantastic. Definitely worth the trip! Read more
Delicious. I got the tonkatsu ramen while driving through. Not busy late on a Sat. Was a little hard to find in the dark? you... have to turn down the road and drive behind the liquor store. Definitely a gem of a restaurant. Read more
First, if you are reading this review, know that the answer is "actually yes, you really should eat here." With so many positive... reviews I worried it was a joke, but the place is real and remarkably good for a roadside diner in Effingham. Had noodle bowlsand they were fresh and delicious. Didn't try the seafood, well, because I'm from New Orleans, but will eat here again on theway back. The owners were very kind and the wait for food was just long enough to know they made it fresh. I hope these folksdo very well. Note: it's true, the parking and "curb appeal" makes you wonder, but they are working hard to make the place workwell. Try it! Read more
The outside looks like an old gas station and, in order to get there you have to drive through a few other parking lots. Don't... let that deter you. This place is worth the effort. Spicy Miso Ramen was not as spicy as I had hoped, but it was still good andfilling. Next time I order it, I am going to ask for "extra spicy". Crab Rangoon was also delicious but would benefit from alittle more "puff". I would eat here again for sure. There's a lot to choose from. Read more
