This is a really good place for burgers, and fries. I even back came two days later (August 17 Wednesday then Friday). I will... talk about my 1st first then 2nd visit. My first visit to this restaurant was awesome. The food and milkshake was great. Iordered coco cappuccino shake which was good with hint of chocolate and cappuccino flavour taste. The shake was serve in a fullglass. I ordered Juicy Lucy and that burger was delicous. Burger petty was cooked perfectly with BBQ short rib adds differenttexture. It had that short rib gravy sauce in the burger. Initially I wanted to order Boar bacon Swiss but ran out of boar. Thefries was cook perfectly with its crispy texture. I was very impressed with the food that I would go back again. My 2nd visiton Friday was good but noticed some things that were different. The shake was served in a small plastic cup so I was kindasurprised as I was expecting a full glass like my first visit. That milkshake is vanilla but does not taste the same as my 1stvisit with my friend who let me tried his shake. That milkshake was tastier than Friday's visit. However this time I was able tobuy boar burger. Wow that burger was good I would buy it again if given the chance. Boar burger had that slight gamey taste withbraised onions. Nice carmelization of the patty, the cherry mustard cuts through the boar meat, and bacon has that nice smokeflavour. Oh man just writing this review makes me want to go back and order it again... sorry.... The fries and onion rings aregood. Also look at the murals too and name those fast food characters on the mural at the entrance and main dining room. Oneslight issue is the onions rings. Most of the rings are good but some of them is a bit soggy maybe not cooked in a hot oil. I'mnot sure. But the condiments for it is good. Is ketchup suppose to be a little bit watery? Overall really good and will go back but some issues which is why I didn't give 5 stars. We had the mushroom melt and added a... patty which at $3.50 is a good price. Burger was fantastic and no complaints there. Also had the hot dog which was also reallygood but really messy to eat with all that nacho cheese. We shared a poutine which at $12 was actually pretty big and plenty forthe 2 of us. It was however quite dry since there wasn't enough sauce which was disappointing. We also ordered a root beer andblack cherry cola. Both were good but I didn't see a price on the menu and had I known it was $4.50 for a can I never would haveordered. That's ridiculous for a can of pop so wouldn't order again. Read more
