Had a great experience here (my first time) last Thursday for the lobster bake. The lobster was really good and my party enjoyed... all the food. However, a minor miscommunication in the kitchen led to the steak that I ordered later in the meal taking a bitlonger so that?s the only reason I took off 1 star. Ordered the lobster mac and cheese with "Atlantic lobster" - got fake crab aka Pollock flakes. Most over prices bowl of fake... crab and macaroni ever.... Sent it back and requested they make it correct as advertised and was told they didn't have anylobster... Not sure why that is on the menu , if you don't have it? Waitress was nice enough to "remove it from our bill," -well duh, I didn't eat it... Won't return, its a shame - I really liked the selection of beer. Read more

The worst experience ever. I would give zero if possible. As a former server I can cut a bit of slack to some servers for their... mistakes but that was not an option for this evening. March 23 2019 we attended a birthday party at Urban Tavern and aftersitting down we realized that there were not enough seats for the initial reservation. We informed the server and were told thatthere was no more room anywhere in an abrupt tone by our server. Okay. Fine, I get it. Bars can be busy, its fine. She alsothen snatched the drink menu out of our hands to give to another diner in our group. Rude. Ridiculous. It got to the pointwhere people were ordering from the bar rather than the waitress. This came from he constant mistakes and her ignoring severalpeople at the table. If you have too many tables TELL YOUR MANAGER not your table. We were berated like first graders fortalking when she was trying to distribute drinks because she had "15 tables". If you had your seat order written down you wouldnot need to call them out. At one point she disappeared and 45 minutes later I called another server over who had been runningour food and she explained that our original server went home. Good. Clearly she was not able to handle her section BUT weshould have been informed that we were transferred to a new server. This was absolutely the worst service I have everreceived. Ridiculous. However, the expo that night took over our table. She had the patience of a saint and helped us lookover our bill and figure out what we owed. She was wonderful and deserves the highest of praise for her service this evening. I dislike leaving negative reviews and, with the exception of the expo who took over, this experience was dismal.
