Ordered a rice bowl.....no sticky rice and for some reason they now have corn and broccoli in them. Bring back the pickled... veggies. Tasted subpar and the rice was dry. Will not return. Read more
Recently my daughter stopped in and picked up an order. The guy that took the order didnt do it right. What is worse is the food... was in all honesty, terrible.. Our family have been loved Tokyo express for years, so I really really hope this was a one offsituation but it was truly the worst bowl Ive ever had.. The rice tasted like it was from the day before, the chicken was hardand crusty like it had been over cooked and was dry like it wasnt fresh. The bowl was supposed to be sprouts only and it had allthe veggies. If it wasnt for the fact I live no where near the location I would of taken it back. Yes it was still mostly hot(thanks to a travel bag), it sure wasnt what I would call good food.. Sorry but cant give this more then 2 stars.. Read more

Excellent place for lunch, sushi is delicious , at A fair price and always good service.
Terrible service. Save yourself the trouble and skip this place. Ordered the avocado maki, the rolls were just falling apart and... the seaweed looked old and dry. Obvious cross preparation as there was little orange dots of someone else's food on the rolls.The avocado itself was unripe, tough to chew, like biting into hardened rubber. Couldn't bring myself to finish it. Total wasteof time and money. Would rate lower than 1 star if I could. Read more
I have been going to Tokyo Express for years at the 170 st location then i closed and had to now go to the 149 st.... location. When i first started coming to this location things seemed to be pretty close to what the 170 st. location served. The last while though...things have gone downhill. I always get a Bento A with Chicken. The sauce seems different that it usedto and is spread all over the vegetables on the side...but that isn't too bad...i can live with that. My big disappointment isthe tempura...not sure what they did but the batter is a doughy soggy batter that just doesn't taste good and is not a lightcrispy result that it used to be. The dipping sauce is super dark now and tastes off. Sushi typically has 2 differentkinds...now just 1. Last 2 times have been disappointing...unless they change things i won't be back. Read more
