Came to The Marc For our 8th wedding anniversary. We Started our meal on a beautiful evening on their outside patio. We shared... their crab cake, which was absolutely delicious overtop a bed of ratatouille and sauce I cannot recall the name of. We movedindoors and I ordered the duck option and my husband ordered their bison steak. They were really good! All the items on my platehad such unique flavors that you wouldn't think would be a good match, but they all paired really well together. With drinks,the crab cake, and meals we spent just over $100. The only downside to this evening was the amount of tiny little flies thatwere constantly landing on everything. My water glass, our cutlery, my face, arms, legs, one even landed in my eyelashes at onepoint. I wish we could have stayed outside but it was too uncomfortable after 20 minutes of sitting in the light swarm of flies.They were tiny green flies that shared similarities with aphids or lacewing flies. Don't let the unassuming appearance turn away, this is a gem. The service was phenomenal, the food was great, the drinks were... good, the servers were awesome and we're great conversationalist who made other recommendations for our stay in the city. Myrecommendations are the artic char, burrata salad, and escargot. Read more
One of the best steaks I've ever had the pleasure of devouring (haha it was that good). Amazing service as our servers... continually made sure our drinks were full and made us aware of the varieties of specials and drinks available. Bartender mademe the famous James Bond drink!. Oh my gosh!! Everything about this place was perfect, such an amazing balance of class and elegance with comfort and relaxation.... You don?t need to wear a suit or dress but if you want to you?re not out of place. The staff is genuinely friendly andknowledgeable, they explain the menu so well you have a hard time picking what to eat. The featured gin sour was refreshing andborderline dangerous with how quickly it can go down. From apps to mains everything was amazing, you can tell the food isprepared with love and the flavours are incredible. We would highly recommend The Marc to anyone and everyone. Read more
The Marc provided my wife and I with an absolutely amazing anniversary dinner at home. It was delicious. I'm looking forward to... doing it again. I ordered and picked up the food without any hassle. Eating at home my wife and I didn't need to rock paperscissors who was the designated driver, we didn't have to get a babysitter, and we didn't have to worry about parking downtown.Maybe best of all, because we made Kraft Dinner at home, we didn't have to hear our kids complain about having to eat absolutelydelicious food in the restaurant. An absolutely fantastic dinner. We tried a plethora of items on the menu and all were phenomenal. Service was outstanding and... the atmosphere of the restaurant was delightful. The menu isn?t quite ?authentic? French, but it certainly has a lusty Frenchinfluence. Highly recommended! Read more
Fantastic. Location is unassuming, the inside has an understated elligance. We started with two glasses of champagne and fries... which were on special. My husband ordered the Market Fish which was Arctic Char and I ordered the Duck. Both dishes were veryamazing, all the ingredients were very well paired. The staff were also great!
