So disappointed in this place... Was excited to take in a comedy night here and was a total flop. Waitress was not feeling her... job that night and it really showed. One of my favourite places to take friends to experience local Edmonton energy and goodness! The local musical production of... Jason Kenney?s Hot Boy Summer Show needs no introduction but what I also love about Grindstone theatre is actually their Mac andCheese! They use to have happy hour Mac and Cheese for only $2! But I went a little later in the day but was still happy to payregular price for the cheesy goodness! Love supporting local businesses and art, especially when the staff is always amazing.Would highly recommend this place right off whyte to chat and hang out with friends! Read more

Great bar but the extra security they hired tonight was extremely ableist. I was refused alcohol after 2 drinks and made to feel... extremely uncomfortable although I've been there multiple times while far more intoxicated and still being served. Excellent shows. We went to see a wonderful sing song show with Halloween tunes. Raw talents all the way though polished... talents. Friendly staff and delightful food that seems to pop right out of the kitchen. Well done Grindstone! A hiddenEdmonton Gem, check them out! Read more

One of my favourite small venues in the Whyte Ave area - staff are all friendly and accommodating, and there is lots of street... parking in the area. When I visited they just dropped a new food menu and it is worth it to go just for that! Most items areunder $10 and are healthy portions - plenty of vegan and gluten-free options as well. Charming and trendy theatre and bistro with delicious food and a great selection of drinks. I'd recommend coming here just for a... drink even if you don't check out a show. But there are tons of great shows to see, too, and you'd be supporting talented localartists. Read more
