My husband and I ate here for the first time and absolutely loved it. The service was absolutely phenomenal, the staff were so... friendly and helpful. It was very busy and they kept up great with the dine in orders as well as the take out orders. I was verypleasantly surprised at the price as I thought it was going to be way more expensive. I would definitely eat here again and willrecommend it to everyone I know. Thank you to all the staff for a fantastic experience. Read more

We?ve been coming to this location since precovid and our hostess, Gladys, has always been amazing and thoughtful. Our first... visit during Covid the in restaurant dining was shut down and the lovely Gladys saw us making a picnic in our car and came outto offer a table cover and extra utensils etc to make our monthly lunch date more comfortable? two years later and we stillappreciate her kindness. She always takes care to ask us about our kids and how we?ve been etc. she is truly welcoming and welook forward to seeing her almost as each other ???????????? Read more

The food was great, cozy place and excellent service. BUT, it will be more convenient for your customer to eat if you place a... plastic table cover rather than paper cover on the table (paper will dissolve), so your customer can pour the food from theplastic bags to the table cover by plastic food grade cover. And provide plastic disposable apron. Others seafood restaurantsapply this method as well... Read more

Had a fun time here! I don?t really like seafood much but I got the headless shrimp and it was delicious. But it is pricey... especially for something I could have made easily at home for half the price. Fun for an occasion though! Read more

I'm really mixed on how to write this review. On one hand, we enjoyed ourselves as we laughed at how ridiculous the meal was... compared to what we'd been expecting. So in that case it was fun. We visited for our wedding anniversary before a movie out. Westruggled a bit with understanding how to order from the menu, with no help or direction from staff, and we ended up orderingfar too much food even though on the menu it seemed like that's what you would order for two people. So keep that in mind whenyou are ordering. We choose options for the mateys boil (two flavours of shrimp). As others have said, we were shocked when thefood arrived in large plastic bags and was dumped unceremoniously on the table. No plates, no utensils, two plastic spoons wereleft for (I'm assuming?) the rice. Even the three side dishes came all together in a plastic bag (we ordered potatoes but theywere literally just cut in half - so I guess you eat them like an apple?). The food was ok. There was some deep fried shrimpsthat were amazing. There was no way we could eat it all, and since it cost over 100.00 we had to drive home to drop the leftovers in the fridge before the movie. I guess we can make soup tomorrow? We're going to laugh about this for a while, but Idon't think we will be going back. I'm not sure why cutting so many corners is a thing there. Honestly I would have been muchhappier with a plate, cutlery, and maybe a quick how to order guide or video so I understood what we were getting into. Read more

The food was not cooked very well, we ordered shrimp boil and everything was overcooked. When we tried to peel the shrimp it all... turned to mush and the flavor was terrible. Also the portions are very little compared to what they charge; 10$ for a handful offries that were soggy and flavorless. I wouldn't recommend eating here. Read more

Interesting idea for a restaurant, but needs to be implemented better. Price should account for type of food, effort to cook... food, amount of food, presentation of food, among many other factors. The food, I believe, is simply boiled then shaken in aplastic bag with sauce and served. It doesn?t take much effort to serve the food they?re giving, and the price/ambience is notfair to customers. What I?m trying to get at, is you get similar if not better prices at Red Lobster and they go through muchmore prep to make your food. I understand this is your theme, but it just doesn?t seem worth how much you?re asking for. Anotherissue we had was the ?famous? seafood fried rice. There were barely any shrimp, the scallops were minced much too small(therefore we didn?t get very much), and the rest was just rice. For $17?? I liked the taste but $17 for some seasoned parboiledrice and 3 pieces of shrimp is a rip off to put it nicely. We ordered shrimp and my wife was put off by the head still attachedand skin on. While I understand this is how they naturally are in the ocean, it would be nice to have the option of having yourshrimp served peeled. I ended up peeling the shrimp for her and with it, all the flavour of the sauce it was shaken in. I meanit was $22, is the option to have my food prepped the way I like it too much to ask for? I was really looking forward to thisplace because family in Toronto has told me much about it, but I won?t be wasting my money here anymore. Good luck with yourbusiness and hope you can re-evaluate your prices. ???????? Read more
