Very friendly staff, had a great time doing Karaoke!
I had a great experience visiting here the other day and I definitely need to go again soon! I went with a friend and had a... couple beer and tried their Tavern burger with poutine and I loved it. Menu has a handful of interesting things to try at greatprices. The only thing I could think of to make it better would be a bigger place with pool tables but this spot is better forgoing with someone you want to catch up with and enjoy conversation with over a nice meal or appetizers. This is one of the best spots on Whyte. It's super inclusive of all walks of life. With bingo night, amazing karaoke, trivia and... cheap buckets you cannot go wrong stopping in here for a drink or 10. Enjoy the pride door and sit on the patio. Always a blast! Read more
I LOVE this place! The bartenders are swift and attentive. And let me tell you now, the Tavern gets Busy. It has live music at... the back patio. You will walk by this bar a dozen times as you traverse Whyte Ave and never give this place a look. I'm tellingyou now, that's a mistake. Bartender claimed I fell on my way out and wouldn't serve me drinks. I never once fell, tripped, or stumbled at all. He wouldn't... pull up the security footage and was adamant he saw me fall when I simply never did. He then got security to kick me out andsecurity was aggressive. I don't care what you think you saw, you shouldn't put your hands on a paying customer that simply didNOTHING wrong the entire night. Why does security think they can push me out and grab me when I was only going around the tableto the exit? Read more
