Pretty consistent for food. My go to dishes are bronze ribeye and baked rigatoni with sausage!
Walking in we were immediately greeted by Jack The atmosphere is unassuming, makes you feel at home and you are in for a treat.... The menu is not boastful and pulls it?s weight in fabulous pastas. The Gnocchi with bacon, onions in a spicy tomato sauce isworth the trip alone. The rigatoni with Italian sausage and peppers will leave you ready for bed in the best way possible. I absolutely adore this place . My favourite is the Bolognese. My belief is if an Italian restaurant can make a extraordinary ... bolognese sauce then they must be worth talking about . I've eaten at this restaurant with friends and coworkers a few times in the past. Good portions and prices. Very sassy waiter,... but I didn't mind so much after a few visits. I don't think I will return anytime soon because there are so many restaurants tochoose from in the area, but this is an OK work-lunch spot if you are looking for good bang for your buck in the downtown core. Have been going to this restaurant for more than 10 years. It doesn't make the 'Top 10' lists, but it sure should. Great... tasting, consistent, quality food always finely prepared. I always pop by the kitchen and say hi to Serge. He, along with Jack,Nancy and the rest of the staff make it a very welcoming place that I want to visit often. Read more
