Great stop for breakfast. The food was tasty, the service excellent and atmosphere is what you would expect. The place was... clean and seemed to be well kept. Table and seats were in fantastic condition, nothing old. Service was very friendly and fastto help with recommendations. Great options in the menu but be warned, the portions are large. July 9, 2022. My wife ordered french onion soup. It was brought out by server Claire (not our ordering server), with a... teaspoon... a teaspoon. She said "sorry, all our soup spoons are dirty". I asked, "can't you clean one?". She said "no, they'reall in the machine". I said "can't you clean one by hand?". She said "no, we're short on staff". Then she left our table. Therestaurant was at about 15% capacity. A while later, when I related this incident to our ordering server, she went straight intothe kitchen, cleaned a soup spoon, and brought it right out. This was a full-grown adult person. We're in our 70s; we eat out alot. This was hands-down the rudest we have ever been treated in a restaurant by a restaurant person. Read more

The place is nice and food portions are big but the food is not very tasty. I personally got the linguini Alfredo and I got 8... shrimps you can count them and the rest just bland pasta noodles and it costed more than $20. They have surprises for kids atthe end of the meal Read more

We've never been to Ricky's before so we thought we'd stop in on the way out of Edmonton for breakfast. The restaurant had a... mask policy along with hand sanitizer by the door. We were also asked for our COVID passports and ID upon our arrival and beforeseating our group. The restaurant was clean and our server was great and funny. We ordered Bacon Cheddar Waffles & eggs,Traditional Benny's and Chorizo Breekie Bowl with coffees and o.j. The waffles was a surprise! The bacon and cheese wasincorporated into the waffles so every bite was filled with yummy goodness. The chorizo bowl had a zing that woke the palateand was very filling. Had a nice meal here tonight. The place was clean and quiet. We had the Califresco Salad, Philly Cheesesteak and a Strawberry... Lemonade and an Iced tea with peach puree. All of it was delicious. The bun with the salad was amazing. Hot fresh and oh sodelicious. Portion size was huge. Both of us couldn't finish our meals. The only two things to note was the refills weren'toffered until very late in the meal and we had to actually stop eating because we needed a drink so bad and they took forever tobring the refill. The second issue was the women's bathroom was smelt so bad of Sulphur from the pee trap being dried out I hadto hold my breath. When I left the washroom I stopped our server and mentioned that if they just put a cup or so of water downthe pea trap they won't get that smell. She said they are aware and do it but she just walked away and was not interested ingoing to the washroom to pour a cup of water down the drain at all. Too bad really because either was so bad.
