I have Celiac disease as well as a dairy intolerance. I very rarely eat out due to fear of cross contamination from gluten as I... will be sick for 4-6 weeks. We just moved to the Northgate area and were very busy so I decided to try Swan pizza. The managerwas so great when I explained my allergies etc. He took the time to explain all the steps they take to ensure I would receive asafe meal. I felt more confident but also I wasn't too excited about eating pizza as every vegan cheese I've tried is soterrible I can't even swallow it. However, the vegan cheese they use was awesome! And I did not get sick at all! I've actuallyordered gluten free Vegan pizza from them 3 more times in just a couple weeks LoL. I highly recommend Swan pizza at Northgatefor people with Celiac & to Vegans. The Manager/owner is a very kind, professional gentleman & I'm happy to support them. Read more
Ordered tonight for pick up after this place was recommended by a couple friends. Live nearby (10min) and decided to check it... out. Staff was rude, topping amount was satisfactory but one of the pizzas was 1/2 burnt on the top, and the crust on the bottomof both pizzas was soggy. Almost 50$ for 2 pizzas. Not worth it. Stay away. My family does not eat here very often, but when we do it's pretty good stuff. Today I experience something you do not want to.... I have bit into something extremely hard, I would speculate his could be a ham bone that was baked into the pizza. I was verylucky to bite onto this lightly. If I was to swallow it, could have had terrible out come as the bone has a sharp edge. Thisturned me off from finishing the pizza and the family stopped eating as well. Stuff like this can happen, but the damage isdone, and I can't see myself wanting to return for more. Read more
Decent price. Good pizza dough. I liked the sesame seed added to the crust. It?s actually a very nice touch. The 2 pizzas that... we ordered were missing some flavour though. Maybe extra sauce or something. Free delivery over $30 was also appreciated. Read more
My husband and I ordered here on Wednesday for the first time, we?re new to Edmonton and have been trying to find our new pizza... place to no avail, after a month of searching we decided to give this a try because of the other great reviews and we were sonot disappointed!
