The owner is in the wrong profession...she is a terrible boss...dislikes women...and is the worst communicator as a employer I... have encountered...she knows a lot about food and wine.. however...is completely ignorant to criticism and feedback even as theplace is sinking in every way possible. The menu hasn't changed in years...its old...boring and outdated. The drinks areok...cold and service is pretty good...little parking...good location if you are going to a hockey game or concert. In decline. I have heard alot of praise about this Pub and decided to try it out. Unfortunately things seem to have gone down... hill as we had these issues: Veggie options seem to be request only and not listed that you need to ask. Place is a tad dirty,washroom was horrible smelling. Hotdogs were one of the biggest selling point that people told me about but they tasted likegrilled Costco dogs. Both of our pops were flat as heck. We attended the June 24th Garth Brooks concert and after the concert, decided to have an adult beverage and some form of snack... before going to bed. This pub was very near our hotel and I had checked reviews on pubs/restaurants near our hotel for mealsduring our visit. The reviews were not quite as good for this pub as a couple of others nearby but on the return from theconcert, the others were crowded and noisy with partiers so we went to this pub. Everyone has their own tastes and I liked thisone better than a nearby one that we had eaten at the day before. I found the menu more to my taste and the appies my companionand I had, they had more flavour than the previous pub. For example, there was no dip with the wings but they had a betterflavour and our other appie had a herb dip that you could actually taste the herbs. It was also a quieter (except for the youngfemale customer with an absolutely raucous and deafeningly loud laugh). I enjoyed this pub so will give it a definite 4 starrating. Read more

I have trauma from working at this place. The owners are a couple who fight, the man is alcoholic who brings in his disgusting... friends who hit on girls way to young for them and make the women who work there extremely uncomfortable. The wife owner is sorude, fat phobic and has fat shamed me multiple times leading to trauma. She is disrespectful to her staff and can't takecriticism. I've worked with girls there who I've had to be there for during shift who were having a mental breakdown and cryingduring shift. I've seen multiple amazing servers walk out and be treated horribly by the owners. Some of there food is very goodbut there kitchen is disgusting and the staff is treated horribly. When I worked here I literally contacted restaurantimpossible, they need to be on that show. Read more
