I just recovered from food poisoning (2 days of sitting in a hotel room) from a chicken burger I had at this location on... Saturday, Oct 29th. The chicken was RAW! The worst part is I didn't realize until halfway through the burger that the inside wasraw. This was my first and last time eating at Popeyes. I bought 3pcs chicken platter today and i requested no legs for my order in drive thru. Went here yesterday & i have a number of complaints. First i ordered a 3 piece spicy tender platter. Then when Lynette, the... worker who took my order, was handing over my order she said I accidentally charged you for a 5 piece not a 3 piece do you want5 pieces instead? I said no i want my money back (if I wanted 5 pieces i would have ordered 5 pieces). Then she called overJeanne her manager to give my refund back. It took so long for her to try to give me my money back so I finally said just refundthe full amount and then charge me the right amount as I figured she couldn?t figure out the difference. Jeanne was obviouslygrumpy because she started hitting the till buttons harder as if i was inconveniencing her by not wanting to stand around longeras it had already been 5+ mins of me waiting for this refund. Fast food fish sandwiches are normally disgusting and questionable for human consumption. Very much like any Tim Hortons... breakfast sandwich. This particular fish offering called the Flounder Sandwich from Popeye's is actually edible and tasty. Thefish fillet was crispy on the outside and flakey inside. The fillet was a generous size and was enough to satisfy my hunger withthe added sides. Construction was sloppy as the pickles were concentrated to one side. Pickles were crisp and complimented thefish and tartar sauce. Rice and beans were flavourful, wish I had ordered more! Coleslaw was meh, looked better than most buthad little taste. Church's has better slaw. Drive though service was good, quick and didn't mess up my order. Would recommendthe fish sandwich for a change. Read more
