Not sure why there is such rave reviews of this restaurant... I went for dinner and ordered the grilled chicken and spring roll... vermicelli bowl. The meat was Grey, and tasted like it was blended and then reformed into shapes...like mushy meat? the otherperson I was with got a "fried" chicken leg on a bed of fried rice. The leg had so much greasy gristle and looked boiled notfried. the bone plate was filled with rejected parts and they far out weighed the consumable parts.. The rice... was likegelitan, and had a weird aftertaste, like mothballs? Hard to describe.. maybe I'm used to different Vietnamese cuisine. I wasvery disappointed. The smell when we walked in was off putting, like mothballs and onions. Staff seemed shifty and reluctant tomeet our eyes when ordering, or when we were paying. Chopsticks at the table were chipped and very rough. We enjoyed the greenonion cakes but the side sauce was maybe a tablespoon serving. Difficult to share. 56$ for dissatisfaction. Pho Haun Pasteur isaround the corner. I would recommend dining there instead. Read more
We enjoyed our lunch here. We both had the #50 pork and shrimp with vermicelli bowls. Very well priced at $16.50 and with a very... generous portion of pork and one skewer with 3 shrimp. Read more
Nope. This was a miss. I don't really know Vietnamese food and wanted to experiment. Unfortunately the server was not very... fluent in English and wasn't able to assist me with understanding the menu. I ordered some kind of beef ball noodle soup. Thebroth was tasty, but the meats were indistinguishable and kind of nasty. Not too happy with price point either...basically anexpensive bowl of soup. Read more

We will not be back - We went for lunch here and ordered the satay chicken pho which was tasty and my son ordered the chicken... skewers with rice and spring rolls. The spring rolls were cold, the meat looked under cooked and smelled funny so when we wereleaving I mentioned the gross meal and asked to have it taken off the bill because it wasn't eaten. The lady at the cashregister started raising her voice at me saying that I just didn't want to pay....I would have NO problems paying for good foodbut rubbery, smelly chicken I will not pay for. She continued to berate me and I finally just asked her to stop talking becauseI'd heard her the first 4 to 5 times say the same thing...she did this in front of a packed restaurant and was veryunprofessional. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and we'll prepared. So many good things on the menu. I would recommend the... grilled chicken combo like I had in picture I posted. Sticky rice was very sticky and super tasty. Read more
We have tried every pho place in North Edmonton, and this place has the BEST pho hands down. Their satay broth is the perfect... blend of savory, nutty and spicy. If you like pho or Asian soups in general, this place is a must-try. The staff here are alsowonderful people with great customer service! :) Read more
