Amazing! The Cesar salad was out of this world. The ricotta ravioli was astounding. Seemingly handmade ravioli, very large, with... a sauce that blew me away! I had to get more bread, also great, to not leave any of it behind. All perfectly cooked. Service wasgreat. I had the creme caramel for dessert, it was disappointing. It seemed to have a starch or gelatin in it, not quite what itshould be and a pre-made sauce drizzled on. But the coffee was fabulous. Had a fantastic evening. The grilled Salmon is the best I've ever had. All 4 of us had excellent fresh pasta dishes (big enough... to take half home). Highly recommend the scallops appetizer. Nice fresh hot bread. Good wine list at decent prices. Read more
I'm very surprised by all the good reviews here. It is what brought me to this restaurant in the first place actually. I will... start off by saying the service was great; arguably the only good part of our dining experience. The food, however, was subparat best. I ordered a pasta dish with crab and shrimp and I got two of the tiniest pieces of crab I've ever seen, crab shouldn'thave even been listed on the dish, and it was swimming in sauce. All the vegetables in my partner's pasta were like frozenvegetable medley dethawed from Safeway. Lastly, for what is being served, the prices are outlandish! We really enjoyed our meal here. The restaurant is quite nice and service was great. Would be nice if they had more booths they... just have the one but at least the chairs are comfy. We started with a mojito and margarita. Both were ok but we personallywouldn't order again. The mint in the mojito was quite old and yellow. For starters we had the bruschetta crostini which wasquite good. For the mains we had the penne arrabiata with sausage which was very good. The noodles were a bit overcooked for myliking but everything else was perfect. At $27 for the larger portion it was a good size but definitely on the pricier side. Wealso had the salmon and side of spaghetti. Salmon was delicious and the pasta was good but again overcooked. Overall we had agreat meal here and would go back. Read more
I came here for dinner recently after passing by the restaurant for many years. The overall atmosphere was cozy and service was... nice. In terms of food, I tried their Penne (with prawns, pancetta, Vodka rose sauce). Everything tasted really good: The pennewas fresh, the prawns were nicely cooked and sweet, and the pancetta and the sauce complimented everything.
