This is one of my all-time favourite restaurants. Edmonton doesn't have a large Senegalese community, and Mumbai Dakar is only... the second Senegalese restaurant we've ever had. I've eaten Senegalese food in two great Harlem restaurants (Harlem being hometo countless people from across the African continent), and Mumbai Dakar can go toe-to-toe with the best of their fare. ChefSolo produces superb dishes from a cuisine that will be a great discovery for most E-Towners. I especially recommend the tangyChicken Yassa, the delicious peanutty Beef Maffeh, and the classic Senegalese Thieboudienne (a fish dish). Ate there for the 4th time this past week. Food is still amazing but restaurant is looking a bit rough now as they are... struggling to keep the lights on post covid. The food is made fresh from scratch so it may take a while to be ready, so if youare the impatient type..order ahead for a great experience..its definitely worth the wait. Came in to order for a pickup order. Restaurant had no customers, waited 15 minutes before someone came out the back and helped.... Food was supposed to be done in 35 mins, got to the restaurant in 40mins and waited an additional 30 mins for them to finish thefood !!! … get home and the food had no taste .. they actually used to be good , I don’t know what happened The restaurantwas really dirty too with a broken window and glass on the ground Read more

Fantastic food and a great place to enjoy a meal with friends and family. But I have order takeaway, food was tasty and Fresh.... Service was fast, Prices are reasonable. Love Indian and African food. My recommended dishes !! Read more
Worst Buffet ever. Dessert was spoilt one. I doubt how this restaurant is surviving. Soup was so sick. Not at all worth to give... it a thought as well forget about trying. Read more
We got some of the Indian dishes for take out - it was all delicious! Everything was made fresh and was reasonably priced.
