We decided to try something different and wanted to see how Mr Mike's stacked up. Mr Mike's is conjoined to Hampton Inn &... suites. It has both a dining room and a lounge so you can choose which area you would like to sit depending on your mood. Thereis ample parking close to the entrance and all the spots are clearly marked. Upon entering Mr Mike's, the atmosphere was relaxedand inviting. I was greeted by a very friendly hostess and I was asked which area I would like to sit, the lounge or the maindining room. We decided to go into the lounge where there are TVs with sports and music and there were board games to play whilewe wait for our meal which was pretty cool. Our waitress was very polite and respectful. We decided to go for the All CanadianLodge Burger and fresh in-house made onion rings which also came with homemade Mike's sauce, we also ordered some garlicparmesan fries and in-house fresh chicken tenders. The burger came out absolutely perfect, hot and juicy and very flavorful andthe condiments were fresh and the bun tasted absolutely amazing compared to the standard buns you get at other places. Thisburger is now my favorite as it has dethroned my previous best tasting Burger in Edmonton. The onion rings were absolutelydelicious as they were hand made and thick cut and cooked to perfection, golden brown on the outside and soft and juicy on theinside. I was quite surprised with the garlic parmesan french fries as the flavor pops in your mouth and it was very surprisingas they seem to have a type of coding on them that made them taste so good. Now, about the chicken tenders, they were absolutelyperfect. I've never had chicken tenders of this quality and flavor as they also came out golden brown as they were hand-tossedand the coating was perfect as it kept in the moisture but had that crunch when you bite into it and so fresh. First time at Mr. Mike's although we have heard all about from relatives in BC. Attached to a hotel, parking was at a premium.... We were seated and although the restaurant wasn't very busy when we first arrived tables began to fill up. Only a singlewaitress serving and she was impatient when we asked about different dishes on the menu. We started with the Hot Lobster Dunk. I would definitely order this again. Sirloin with Lobster Mac was deemed delish. Steak was perfectly cooked and tender and thelobster mac had plenty of lobster. It was lip smacking. The Rib Eye Steak Dip was beautifully tender beef with caramelizedonion. It didn't need anything else. Served with the Cascadia salad which was also very tasty. First time at Mr. Mikes and had their ?Super Summer Platter? and have to say I wasn?t impressed. The photo on the menu of the ... ?Super Summer Platter? looked much better than what I received. Pretty much I got four chicken strips, four small shrimp, and afew pieces of chewy steak for $29. Not impressed with the food but the staff gave great service. Most of the time is good but very disappointed. Ordered garlic fries as a side with my meal and my boyfriend got a whole order... of the garlic fries. Came and they were bothe the same size....... I would have expected the whole order ti be larger since paidmore for it. Read more

Wanted to try a new restaurant for my birthday today and had a couple of dishes nothing had flavor or taste was so disappointed... and left still hungry. Had to buy my mom more food and I spent $150 at this place. Would not ever recommend this place to anyoneplus the waitress didn?t even offer to take something out of the bill. So I was not offered any birthday dessert and if yourdiabetic u have no choice to eat some of the food so really I don?t appreciate mikes saying we ate all the food. All I knowworse place to eat and the waitress wasn?t even great either. Image how my birthday was after spending money to enjoy a decentmeal.I feel like I been accused of liking the food and it was good and I making a big deal out if nothing and it?s not so I wasvery very disappointed with the whole experience. Our family ate here tonight and everything was perfect from start to finish. Parking is free and there is a lot of it. The... hostess was professional, friendly and asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. Our server was attentive and ensured wewere happy with everything. The place is immaculately clean, and the decor is lovely. The washrooms were the cleanest I haveever been in and smelled nice and fresh. As for food, the chicken fingers were deliciously crisp, our daughter enjoyed them inher kids meal. We had Mike Burgers, they were perfect. If you have had a Mike burger before you know that they are one of akind. They come on a garlicky baguette style bun and have a unique sauce. I always get extra sauce because I love it so much.The fries were spot on. Very fresh and hot. Their gravy is a must if you get fries.
