Recently visited this place for lunch. Staff was hospitable. The environment had good ambience. Though quite busy but we were... allocated space in no time. Servers were very friendly and professional. Food arrive in a short time. overall food presentationwas cool and tasted excellent. I loved the steamed vegetables that were served with the food. We had made reservations for 10 people the day after my daughter?s wedding. Immediately the bar manager Mackenzie approached our... table to ask if there was a special occasion we told him we were celebrating the wedding and guests that were from out of townthat were with us . We were treated fantastic from both Mackenzie and our waiter Amen . When our meal was done It Was Fantasticby the way !!!!! We were given free dessert. This place was decent, forgotten drinks a couple of times where she had to say what did you want again. The 10oz Angus wasn't... cooked like I asked. The atmosphere was good to be in. The birthday dessert wasn't like we were told and found out when webrought it home. Not sure if I will be back after spending 300 for the night I thought it was going to be way better. The bar in this place plays music INCREDIBLY loud. You cannot hear anything but loud music. Asked the waitress if it was... possible for the music to be turned down - she did. Not quiet, but at least I didn't have to scream at my lunch date. After 20minutes, our order arrived, and the music went back up - louder than before. The waitress said "I asked her to turn it down andshe turned it up." The manager came over and explained that the customers in the lounge expect loud music. There were 3 tablesincluding us. It was 11:30 am. We were all yelling to be heard. She told us if we didn't like it, we could leave. Our meals hadarrived. This was the manager. She couldn't have turned it down for 20 minutes for us and then turned it back up to deafeningafter we left? I didn't realize people coming in for lunch were expecting a dance bar atmosphere. I will never be back. It's nowonder Moxie's is going bankrupt. This is their idea of customer service? If you ask them to turn down the music, they turn itup?
