I love this spot! The red curry udon soup is so flavourful and came out piping out with super fresh veggies. I also got the roti... canai, which is so inexpensive yet delicious! This is truly a hidden gem. I'm not a vegetarian or vegan and yet I did not findmyself missing meat. I liked how fast the service was and how convenient it was to order on the tablet at each table. Horrible!!! It?s way overpriced and the food is just alright. Customer service was very limited, it?s hard to call the waiter... when he was always in the back. Such a cool place! I am not vegan but man... some of these dishes really make you wonder why you aren't. Vegan dim sum. I love... the play on all the textures and the time taken to carefully prepare the food. Favorite highlights were the steamed buns withcrispy tofu and pickled coleslaw. The tempura enoki mushrooms were stellar as well. This place also has a great selection ofteas ranging from light floral teas to heavier green teas! Read more
The owner/manager was very welcoming and everything we ordered looked just like the photos! A nice change from all the... restaurants I've been to that use stock photos or highly stylized and edited photos. Everything was delicious! I've tried veganchocolate cake and vegan brownies before and was disappointed in the past, but the brownie we were served tonight wassurprisingly good! The texture and taste was spot on. The spicy tofu clay pot had a great savoury broth that went well with boththe jasmine rice and the glass noodles. The boa bun was super fluffy and the soy pork was amazing! While the lettuce wraps werea bit messy to assemble and eat, the romaine lettuce was crisp and I liked the variety of vegetables in the filling. I can't express how great this restaurant is! The food was delicious and flavorful - was pensive going in but wow they fully... impressed. We had the daily special, it came with soup, a main and a dessert. We were a bit hungry so we ordered wontons and potstickers as appetizers. EVERYTHING was delicious! There was great flavor profiles and generous portions. The Oriental Beauty teablend was a great accompaniment to the meal. We loved their teapot so much, we bought one on our way out! Love this place. We've eaten in, ordered delivery, and bought to take out. The space is simply decorated. During and after... covid, they have tablets at each table, where you can pick your items from the menu. Good variety of vegetarian asian/chinesecuisine. All meat items are mock meats. Read more
