While in West Edmonton mall, we decided to stop by L2 for their buffet. Very good food and cosy atmosphere.
Go to L1 if you want drinks! They are good. I would love to think that the fantasyland hotel restaurant, L2, was nice. Maybe... this place was nice at one time, but it's not very nice. I'd like to give it a good rating but it does not deserve one. Theseats are worn and ripped, atmosphere leaves much to be desired, the waiter was terrible in many ways. There was another staffmember, perhaps the manager, he was nice and helpful. The cocktails aren't good. There may be redeeming qualities so it's notas if this place isn't worth a try. But they should renovate and reinvent themselves at L2. Read more
It wasn’t the best. I thought it was supposed to be a steakhouse? I ordered the steak and ask for it medium well. Came to me... well done. Disappointed for the price. As well the mall alarm was going off for an hour. So what was supposed to be a quietdinner was really unenjoyable. Could have done way better but they didn’t. Read more
We were seated at the table without being given menus and then it took another five minutes before someone approached and gave... us some. Coffee was terrible and had an ashtray smell. Breakfast cost $17 and was mediocre. Sausages were slimy and bacon tastedlike ready crisp microwave bacon. Not worth the money. You're better off going to Denny's or anywhere else. The only reason Iwould give this two stars is because our server was very pleasant. Read more

On an incredibly busy night for all restaurants in the area, we couldn't get a table anywhere without waiting an hour. Called L2... and they took us immediately! The service was EXCELLENT with our waiter, Jesser, providing wonderful non-alcohol options for ourparty, as well as serving delightful wines too. The food was great, steak was awesome, potatoes creamy and vegetables a plenty.This was a respite to the xmas shopping craziness, cozy while also elegant dining option. Will definitely come back!
