Lovely addition to West Edmonton Mall. Nice happy hour specials and a couple of VLT's. Great place to take a break on the mall.
So the place itself is nice enough, a bit to pricey for the quality. But the service is brutal, I was not going to tip. Once our... waitress brought our change back, we said thank you and she took that as a ?keep the tip ? and ran away quickly with our money.It was such a strange interaction. We requested the sound to be turned down and some other requests and we were accommodated. Very happy with the wholeexperience. Nice lounge/bar the seating is comfortable and the ambiance and decor is great. Happy hour drinks are reasonableprices. We ordered the L2 burger off the menu and it was tasty and served hot. Our experience at the L1 lounge was mixed. The service started off good but we seemed to be forgotten about after our first... couple bites of food. The lounge itself a quite nice, spacious and very dimly lit. The quality of food was pretty good and theportion was fair. Unfortunately my steak was under seasoned and our waitress did not come back to our table so I wasn't able toask for salt. Overall it was good...not great. Read more
L1 Lounge isn't super classy but it is reasonably nice. Our steak dinners were 40 bucks each for AAA filet mignon and rib eye.... We had a $20 antipasto appetizer that was absolutely delicious. They gave us complimentary warm bread to start and 5 chocolateswith the bill. The server was very friendly and talkative and extremely attentive. The food arrived quickly and our drinks wereregularly topped up. My filet mignon was perfectly cooked and delicious. Veggies were perfect amount of crunchiness. The trufflebutter was yummy and very creamy. I polished off my entire plate. The antipasto exceeded my expectations. Perfectly grilledveggies and complimentary flavors. Ambiance was nice and quiet with music playing but not too loudly. It wasn't very busy so wecould have quiet conversation. Decor was predominantly red, nothing super fancy or high quality though.
