I was recommend come here by a co-worker so I decide to come and give it a try. The food was ok I wouldn't say it has a "wow"... factor. Quick cap of my visit and what we ordered. Service was pretty good but overall visit was just ok. 1. Tonkotsu Ramen-Thebroth was ok maybe cooked for 2-3 hours and the noodles were al dente. The Chai Siu was not pork belly but instead it was porkloin which made it very dry and it was not seasoned. Overall it was ok. 2. Chili Goma- The broth lacks flavours and had endpieces of meat, noodles were good. I don't recommend this at all. 3. Chicken Karaage- The chicken was good and crispy but therewas still a lot of corn starch stuck to the chicken so you can taste. Overall ok not great. Read more
The best Japanese restaurant in Edmonton. We ordered Kazoku classic ramen and Tonkatsu curry rice. The soup is so rich and... delightful. The curry is very good as well. We even ordered dessert - purin and mudjar. Everything is great. Definitely comeback. However, the service is terrible. Read more
Food was amazing, I loved their melon cream soda float, it reminded me of the shrek float that existed in the early 2000's ????... appetizers were a hit! I got the tonkatsu Black sesame ramen and it was really good, enough to satisfy my ramen craving Misoramen was really good too! Food was great but it definitely seemed like they were understaffed as it took a really long time to be seated and have our... order taken. I do recommend trying the ramen here. People were getting pretty upset about the wait time so that had an impact onthe atmosphere. But I do think in normal circumstances when they are fully staffed that it would be a good atmosphere. I reallylike the decorations and you get sesame to grind up and put in your ramen which is cool. Read more
