Menu for Hui's Wontons Southside in Edmonton, AB

Part of this rating due to skip the dishes as they took 2 and a half hours to bring me my food, but my first and last experience... with skipthedishes is for an entirely different review. We ordered the dinner for 3 and when the cold meal arrived there wasplenty of food for the 3 of us, so that part was good. Spring rolls, although if they were hot might have been better, were acomplete miss. Fried rice was good, a little on the salty side though and there was no need for extra soya sauce. Bbq pork withsnow peas, bbq pork was the worst I have had to date and the snow peas were cooked perfectly. Ginger beef was awesome, again alittle on the salty side and would have been much better if hot and fresh. Beef and greens was sub par, but again our food wasfar from hot and fresh due to the poor service provided by skipthedishes. Food was bland. And Expensive. Never going back there again. Too bad the quality went down since it was tin tin. I tried... everything to make the food better (soy sauce/plum sauce) but it had zero taste. $80 down the drain. I ordered the chicken friedrice, beef n broccoli, deep fried tofu, deep fried squid, the pork spring rolls, the chicken satay, and Shanghai noodles. Read more

Northern style Chinese food. Service from the older gentlemen here was awesome, way better than their Sherwood Park location,... food is still pretty good, but Sherwood Park location have slightly better food. Both locations are priced slightlyhigh. Signage was not obvious, easily missed.* Previous restaurant occupied here, TianTian? was terrible. I recommend theshredded potato in my picture, it was great. Nice restaurant with authentic Chinese food. I love the fact that they try to make an effort to reduce salt and oil in their... dishes. Services by the older gentlemen are always nice. Although a bit pricey, but definitely worthy it! Read more
