Heard about this place from a friend as I regularly frequent the Aloha Hawaiian Poke and Grill location. Both locations are in... kind of weird spots to be fair, but this location has pretty cool decor inside and is nice to dine-in at. The owner is very niceand the poke doesn't disappoint. I had some of the spicy flavours and they do have a nice buzz to them! We got some seaweedsalad with our poke and it made it even better. I see reviews about people having soggy rice and it seems they have an issuewith take out quite often. Dine-in worked out for us. One thing I'd hope to see is if we could get a scoop of masago as atopping cause I love it. Great place to dine in, takeout, or even to buy some fish by the pound to make poke at home! Quitepricey for sure but it is expected for poke. About $20 per person. Read more

My friend and I went to eat dinner here, looked pretty promising from the photos online. He ordered the salmon poke and I... ordered the pork Kalua. Both were disappointing to say the least, first off the portions were very small for the premium wepaid. His salmon poke was not bad, but the pork kalua was not only tough but it was flavourless. This place has potential butlacks the fundamentals at the moment Read more

Such a lucky find! We were looking for a breakfast place and stumbled on this place we've never seen. When I saw spam on the... menu I knew this place was legit ???? We were absolutely amazed that they let us sample pieces of poke and thought it wasbrilliant. We ate tuna with wasabi sauce, spicy salmon and loco moco with the meat patty. My wife immediately loved the locomoco ask it has 3 of her favourite things to eat in one. EVERYTHING was delicious! They also have grilled menu items that Ican't wait to try. Read more

Amazing place to visit and eat. We happened to be nearby registry and were looking for a restaurant to eat. My hubby doesn't eat... raw food and I am pegnant. So we couldn't try their poke. So we got their hot meal and it was amazing. I got some kind ofhamburger patti with gravy and it was less than 10 bucks and believe me, I was full. I had not eaten anything since 9 in themorning and ate around 5. So yes I was hungry. I also enjoyed Spam musbey? A lot. Staff were so friendly and offered us servicesnack for mother's day :) Read more

I lived in Hawaii for 3 months and I visited there 3 times. I?ll write the honest review based on my experience (But I didn?t... expect the foods to be as good as the local). The salmon poke was fishy for me and I understand this because it?s hard to getfresh fish here. But the rice came with both poke and loco moco was cooked soggy and mushy (not like regular sushi rice). Theportion of seaweed salad I ordered separately was so small that not even filled the whole sauce container. And the size ofhamburger patty in loco moco is petite size. And there?s not enough gravy sauce to eat with rice(it usually comes with enoughsauce to enjoy with rice). I was so excited to read good reviews about this restaurant but unfortunately the foods weredisappointing. Read more

I came here to pick up food recently. The restaurant has a nice and welcoming atmosphere. The owner was very friendly and... service was great as I was offered different flavours to try when I was debating on what to get. In terms of food, I got theSpicy Mayo Tuna Poke Bowl and Sweet and Spicy Tuna Poke Bowl, and I sampled the Wasabi Tuna. The tuna was fresh, was diced upinto nice pieces, and was good with all the flavours. The spicy mayo flavour was good, creamy, and well balanced. I think it?dprobably be better in burrito form (rather than a poke bowl). The Sweet and Spicy describes the flavour quite well. It?s astingy type of spicy that shines through and is quite unique in Edmonton. It felt similar to eating sashimi and it was good in apoke bowl style. For the wasabi flavour, it was more creamy than the typical wasabi so it had the wasabi sting but was alsosoothing. Note that they also offer catering service Read more
