Sorry about the photo we dug in and it was so good for the price, I decided I needed a photo for my 5 star review. Great bar,... great staff. We sat at the bar and Eh-Eh-Ron aka Aaron was great to us. I want to take this bar home with me. Food isexcellent, inexpensive and the drinks flow without catastrophic damage to your pocketbook. I frequently visit Edmonton and Iwill go out of my way to enjoy this gem again. Ps there was a great song I hadn't heard in a long time playing and they turnedit up for me. This bar is a keeper. Not bad, we came in, didn?t know Tuesday night is trivia night, starts at 8pm, we caught the last 9 questions, was pretty fun.... Food is good and cheap, pretty sure it will be packed in weekends. Read more
I don't normally go out to bar/pub type places, but this was interesting. Everything is about $6 and the portions are pretty... decent for the price. The music was real loud, but top notch song choices! The food took a little while to come out, but it wasa Saturday evening and it looked quite busy. Wasn't a big fan of their serving dish/pan. It's literally like a frying pan andit spins around while you're trying to grab food. The handles kind of get in the way, so you have to be careful about knockingthe entire thing over. Was extremely disappointed with this place, was hoping for some great food, but was very unsatisfied. My 3 very simple dishes... took almost 1.5 hrs to get, everything was very slow drinks, water. Unfortunately probably won't be coming back, unless forlunch maybe when it might be less busy, but even then simple pub food shouldn't take 1.5 hrs Read more
Went here with a friend on Tuesday. The idea here is that everything is 5 bucks i don't know, kind of a meh idea. The music when... we got there was way too loud, however when they started trivia night they turned it down thankfully. We ordered the wings andwedges, deep fried bacon for a started. Deep fried bacon was super good, the wings and wedges were nice. The staff were reallynice and the trivia night was fun. However I ordered poutine and a burger. Poutine was cold and gross. I?ve been about 5 times now, and I?ve never had a bad experience! The service is always good and the food is really good value... for the price- I love the pickle chips and the scotch egg is SO good!! I really like that they serve Sea Change beer, and theirbeer on tap is not bad either. I like that you can try lots of different things as it?s fairly priced for the portions. My onlycomplaint is the one time that I ordered a caeser, it came without a pickled egg even though it was advertised with one, and Ialso asked for it not spicy but for some reason it was pretty overwhelmingly spicy. This place was a very pleasant surprise. Great atmosphere, the food was delicious and very surprisingly filling! I was... suspicious about the price point but it was true. Great food at a great price. We ordered a tonne of different dishes to tryout, all of them were delectable! Was the first time I had ever had a blooming onion and that may well be my new favoriteappetizer ever. We went at what appeared to be peak time and it was incredibly hard to get our servers attention, if I wasthere to party (which I truely wish I was) I wouldn't have minded, or noticed, but we did attend for supper so not having abeverage by the time our food arrived and for the duration of the meal wasn't ideal. We were a group of five and we all enjoyed our time here! Our server was lovely, food was great, ordered a bunch of appetizers... and drinks throughout and enjoyed the live band music. Very chill atmosphere with open fresh air coming from Bourbon Street.Theyalso have vegan options which was great for us! We?ll be coming back! Read more
