Went there last night with a friend. Nice Irish ambience, cozy neighbourhood feeling. Our server Lisa was nice and friendly.... Beers are good and food is tasty. Portions are small. Butter chicken was half of what is normally served at other places. Mychicken pot pie had just enough stew to finish my pie. I had to watch my feeding portions. You literally see the shrinkflationin their food portions. At the end we felt that we didn?t get our $40 worth of food. A good place for brews but not when youare hungry. Read more
Duggan's is a great little pub in the Bonnie Doon area. They offer many Irish drink options, stews, curries, pizza, burgers,... fish and chips, and much more. The service is good but can be a little slow when busy but the staff are friendly. I've met somefriendly locals here as well. The prices are a little bit on the high side but inflation is a thing I guess. Great spot for foodand drink as well as live music on Friday and Saturdays. Read more
EDIT: your email doesn't work Apparently don't go here if under 30. Food, music, atmosphere 5/5. Review lost two stars for very... weird interaction with server. She didn't introduce herself, instead opening by saying to my group "I have to ID you allbecause you are by far my youngest group". Ousting us wasn't cool. One of us didn't have ID which was her mistake and had toleave but we are not even "young" and I pointed out that the two tables nearest to us were close in age and she just laughed atus. Why act this way? Food was good and served quickly, really liked the guy on the acoustic, but the server was soo hung up onus being "young", kept bringing it up the whole time she served. I still tipped nicely to show how us "young people" can berespectful. Would come back but if I'm ousted for being young again I'm gonna bring it up to whoever is managing because it'spretty stupid and disrespectful to your patrons. Left us with a bitter taste. This was such a fun find!! The perfect neighborhood pub and atmosphere! Great service, the staff were very friendly! Half priced... wings is was we had! The food and drink menus were amazing, lots to choose from. Also had food and drink specials offered daily.They even allow kids till 8pm. We will definitely be back to try something new and recommend trying! Read more
Great place to have a beer and some food. Classic pub feel. Music wasn't too loud, so we were able to converse without having to... yell! Our server Lisa was really friendly and funny, which made my first experience here even better! Had the poutine and dryribs, 10 out of 10 overall! Read more
Such an amazing little Irish pub. The food is good, basic Irish pub food. I had the poutine which was good, the fries could... have been a little crispier and they could have used a little less gravy but all in all it was a good poutine. Love that theyget their cheese from a local supplier (Cheese Factory). The Caesar was a basic Caesar and very tasty. What I love about thisCaesar is the garnish, once again using beer cheese from the Cheese Factory. They have an awesome promo, every day between 11amand 2pm as long as you get a meal your kid eats free. My boy got the cheese pizza and this picky eater actually ate 3 slices,HUGE win. The server (forget her name) is amazing. When we were there she had about 5 tables and ran them like a boss. We neverfelt like we were waiting for anything. Read more
First takeout experience wasn't great but manager made sure second dine in experience was great. Loved the food and soups.... Tomato basil and french onion soups were delicious. I would recommend dining in ???????? Read more
