Celebrated our 2 year Wedding Anniversary here and it was an amazing experience! I didn't catch the name of our waiter but he... did an excellent job and we were very satisfied with his service! The NY Strip was cooked Medium Rare to perfection!Temperature was perfect! Mashed potatoes were nice and creamy. We had crab cakes for apps which were delicious! My husband and I just celebrated our 20th anniversary at Chop Steakhouse & Bar and it was amazing!! They went out of their way... to make us feel special and even included candles, a card with gift and dessert!. We celebrated Valentines, Mothers Day and ourBirthdays this spring and keep coming back as the staff are so friendly and attentive and the food is AMAZING!! We tend to gofor our usual Prime Rib because it is soooooo tender with a choice of side and an amazing vegetable blend! The Charity Bread isalso a nice touch and we love that it goes towards a meal for the hungry. What's not to love about this place?! If you haven'ttried it yet, you need to, you wont be disappointed. Excellent food and service! The kids loved the tempura vegetables starter and charity bread, snd raved about their steaks.... Offering a steak dinner option on the kids menu for such a reasonable price is genius. We all enjoyed our dinner and the staffhelped me celebrate my birthday with a delicious cheesecake. We had a party of 14 and the accommodated us wonderfully out on the patio. I had the smoked rib eye with wild rice pilaf, and... it was amazing. Yes, having it smoked was a plus, but the intentional crust and attention to cooking times made this such a goodpiece of medium rare meat. I also had the opportunity to try different plates from different family members. The prime rib wasalso cooked at a beautiful medium rare. The au jus was also done well and packed with flavor. Nothing was overly salty. Theonly thing that could be an improvement, if possible, would be the oysters. They weren't particularly the freshest or sweetest,but they were ok. However, that doesn't taint the overall experience we had at Chop. We love both the Keg and Chop, but if wehad to choose, we'd go with Chop. Price are comparable, but it seems that they pay that much more attention to their meats. Read more
