Twice, I have ordered, and twice I have been disappointed. The quality of the food is excellent, but the taste? Not so... much. Being a traditionist, my expectation is to get what is ordered. The pizza wasn't bad. The wonderful toppings andbeautiful crust was tainted win a pizza sauce that tasted only of basil. Even with asking for 'easy on the sauce', it washorrible. Salmon and rice for a second try seemed like an easy bet. It was a wonderful piece of salmon, but it wasn't grilled;it was poached. What spice complimented the flavour? I don't know, but I did not like it. Rice? How can you go wrong with rice?Nutmeg! Nutmeg, is the answer. There was so much nutmeg, I couldn't feed it to the dog. Yes, the quality is good but, know whatto expect. When people are surprised at the taste. The quality of your food is excellent, the service is great but you shouldmention the spices you use. Your regular customers may love what you are doing, but some simply do not like the taste. You havegreat food. Unfortunately the way you cook it doesn't work for me. How many other customers feel the same way? Read more

I've been going to Capital Pizza since 1993, and lived right behind it for over a decade when the original location was in the... strip mall and was owned by the same owner of today. They've always been reliable for a more homestyle/classic pizza and pasta. The dine-in experience will make you nostalgic for the late 1990s even if you were born post-1999. I would rate 5 stars, butsubtracted one star due to the high prices which, understandably rose due to increasing costs/inflation, but are nonethelessusually outside my current budget. Read more

Ordered nachos and they were the worst. Literally they melted the cheese on the chips and then added a pile of toppings in the... center. No toppings were melted into the cheese and wouldn't stay on the chips. And the tomatoes and green peppers were thesehuge chunks of completely uncooked nightmares. Awful. Posted a picture. Read more

This place was a great find. It's roomy and cozy at the same time. Food was awesome! Huge pieces of chicken on the salad.... Massive plate of nachos you can't finish in one sitting. The prices are a little high but you get your money's worth. Friendlystaff. My dad thinks this is the best pizza in town. Definitely worth the trip if you're in the area. Read more

Decided to order the capitol special pizza. It was good. The staff were very nice. Ample toppings. Maybe a bit excessive with... the black olives. It was $37 for a large. I will order from there again one day. Maybe try something else. Edit: I?m not a fanof left over pizza but this pizza was very good the next day. Read more
