Korean restaurant that's been in Edmonton for decades. The interior is original and shows its age. Food was okay but not great.... Service was really slow and they got our order wrong after waiting 45 minutes. Prices were a bit high for a hole in the wallasian restaurant. Read more
There were 6 of us and we all enjoyed the experience. Food was tasty but not spicy and I've decided that I like kimchi and that... was surprising. The portions were fine but I did notice here as well as lots of other restaurants recently seem to be puttingless meat in the dishes and who can blame them. All in all it was a good experience. It's been about 2 years since we've eaten at the Bulgogi House, and the food is just as tasty and delicious now as it was... before. I called for take out and everything was ready at the promised time, and it was still hot even after returning home toFort Saskatchewan. Yes, you read that right, the food is worth the 30-40 minute drive! We always order the same dishes as we'vefound our favourites since we first discovered this hidden gem over 30 years ago. I have to agree with some of the otherreviewers in that the portions seem a little smaller, and the prices a little higher than the last time we ate there, but I'mwilling to pay a premium for constantly delicious food. We won't let another 2 years go by again before returning to theBulgogi House. Read more

Bul Go Gi House has been around since 1973, and their food is... absolutely delicious! - LA Galbi Beef Short Ribs - hands down my favourite dish. The meat is SUPER tender and the marination isspot on. I order this everytime. ???? Ttukbaegi Bulgogi (it?s like stew) - our first time ordering this and it did notdisappoint. If you like stew, you would fall in love with this dish ???? Japchae - it?s a must if you?re getting Korean food!Best Japchae I?ve ever had! We had the HanJan one recently and that was absolutely a gone show. If you want Japchae, you betterget it from Bul Go Gi House ?? - The owner served us personally and has told us that Covid has really affected her restaurant(just like a lot of businesses) and that she?s very worried for her restaurant?s future! Good service. Excellent food. Very quaint and unassuming. I had the Seaweed Salad followed by Bibim Jjampong (spicy seafood... noodles) and Kimchi. All three were delicious, reasonably priced and had decent portion sizes. Highly recommend. Read more
