If there was even ten degrees of pivot in their branding, this place would be on plates across Edmonton in a minute. Hummingbird... chefs put together some damn good (and inventive) flavours together under a well-priced and extensive organic menu. Thefriendlinesses of the in-person service is astounding given their daily hours—how they are the last to leave the kitchens ofEdmonton but seem to do so with a smile, week-in, week-out. The crust is worth noting as incredible, the service is top-notch,and you’re missing out if you haven’t stopped by. -it tastes like how I REMEMBER Pizza Hut- The pizza crust is perfectly balanced between crispy and doughy. Everything has a hint... of South Asian spice too. I'm reminded of those masala mix packets at the supermarket. 4.5/5. You completely forget how takeoutpizza is a bad deal after one bite. Read more
More of a 4.5 truly but don't want to remove a star. Crust is ok, soft inside crunchy outside. Order was accurate. Staff were... friendly, and pizza was ready quickly (15mins). I'm not sure it's 5 star pizza but the experience was smooth 5star. They didn'ttry to rip me off or ask for a tip. Just decent food late Sunday night. Thank you Boss Kitchen. +1 for box art. Incredibly good food, all home made, traditional and genuine recipes from the East Indian family who operates the restaurant,... gluten free, non GMO and all fresh and healthy ingredients, the Chai is the best I've had in Edmonton and possibly Alberta. I'venever had such an amazing Calzone, the dough so crispy and buttery, the pizza is super good, I had Tandoori chicken and it wasperfect, Samosas are top shelf and try the chicken wings, they're flavored and cooked perfectly Read more
EDIT Was 2 stars, now 1 star because of snarky reply form owner. There was no request for crispy well done. I attached order... receipt photo from uber eats to prove there was no “crispy well done” request. Don’t complain about a cold pizza,they’ll send a burned one to replace it. Best Pizza I have ever had!! Toppings were fresh and the cheese was perfect. Cooked to perfection and the crust was crisp but... not too crisp. Will definitely be buying again as well as recommending to friends! Read more
