We?ve been probably a dozen times now since it opened and have had the pleasure of being served by Japkaran twice now and he?s... awesome :) super friendly, fun to talk to, and good at his job. Everyone else we?ve had has been great too. Food is great, thehappy hour specials are unbeatable, and they have the most authentic tasting margaritas we?ve had in Edmonton so far (has moreof that strong sour lime flavor than most places in Canada where it just tastes like a lime flavored slurpee). Tried tacos both lunch hour and dinner. You could choose more than one flavor without extra cost. Tips for a group is auto 20%.... The preference for the 4 flavor I tried is shrimp> pork >beef > fish. Atmosphere and service is good. Read more
What an amazing experience. I'm a big fan of Mexican food and this restaurant set the bar very high. I've tried almost all... their tacos which were all extremely tasty and delicious. The quesadilla was amazing and you can't go wrong with the Tijuanatater tots. They have an arsenal of amazing tequilas on their bar menu, the margaritas are above par and their bulldog choicesare amazing. My server has been Jennifer every time I've gone into the restaurant. She's amazing, personable, friendly and veryknowledgeable with the food menu and tequilas. She seems to be the trainer as she always has someone training with her everytime I'm there. Amazing location, creative and fun decor. They have an amazing bright sun room, and a small outside patio.Definitely recommend this amazing Mexican restaurant. Read more
Food was great, quick, options for many with dietary needs. Highly recommend - to ensure a seat make a reservation as wait times... can be lengthy. Comfy booths on the patio, restaurant was busy but wait staff were doing a great job and with a smile. Read more
This place really surprised me. The food was great! Huge portions! Definitely recommend to anyone craving Mexican food. Service... was great as well, despite it being busy at end of our meal. We came before 4:30pm ish on a Monday night, wasn?t too busy butwhen we were finishing up around 530pm it was getting busier! Read more
We had dinner here on Monday night and it was fantastic! It was half price margaritas and half price burritos. Three of us had... the blackened fish, and the portions were great! One of us had the shrimp tacos, which she said were good. The margaritas werevery tasty. The only negative was that the music was very loud. We've been here twice now and have had roughly the same opinion. The tacos were alright - the shrimp and the fish tacos were... surprisingly good. The problem came with any of the slow cooked meats such as the pork/beef/chicken. The last time we were herethe chicken was so salty that we both didn't eat our chicken tacos. The red cabbage that is served with the tacos was also verysalty. At the end of the meal I told our server about this and she replied, "oh, a few other tables have said the same thingtonight. I'll let the kitchen know." It's probably best in the future that the kitchen taste tests their batches prior toservice. Also both times we've gone in as a two top and there were multiple tables open. We were told by the two hostesses thatit would be a half hour wait. After waiting over half hour and seeing over 20+ people leave (both times) we were seated at thesame time as other groups that came after us. From a process/flow perspective it doesn't make any sense - I can't see ithelping the kitchen/servers by having zero flow. Thanks for listening to my tedtalk. Read more
