Staff are apparently present? It took far too long for any assistance at the table throughout the entire evening, even though we... were the only table there... The heat was also very odd. Kept being turned up to the low 30's which was very very uncomfortable.Our drink orders were constantly screwed up, still waiting for the correct ones to come. Lastly, if you want any cocktail goelsewhere. Low quality liquors are used when you pay for high quality. Terrible terrible bar. Read more
Had the staff paid any attention, I would bring the complaints in person, but here we are: -We were the only table in the full... restaurant, servers did not clear tables, glasses or ask if we need a drink majority of night. -Banded peak hazy was off, it's agreat beer but tasted sour. Suspect lines need to be cleaned? -Servers switched over midway, issues splitting tab, sitting withfriends. -One staff came from kitchen to serve food without a mask. Fun little hole in the wall with a very accommodating staff. They went through great lengths to ensure the game we were there to... watch was on a TV in our sight line, and the happy hour offers some great value. Will definitely be back next time I’m intown. Read more
Happened to walk by before a hockey game, looking for some food & beer and I was pleasantly surprised by the food, atmo &... excellent service! Lots of local beers on tap, excellent food (mushroom soup is bomb) & even got to try the secret drink! Ihighly recommend this place & I will be back again! Read more
Very disappointed by this place. Terrible service (staff were pleasant but didn't seem to have worked in a restaurant/bar... before), food came out at different times (at least 20mins between first and last person to get their lunch), and variablequality of food (vegan burger and Mad Hatter were quite nice, but the chicken and fries were both awful). Can't imagine how muchworse it would be if there were any other customers. To add insult to injury, the beer selection was only genericlager. Upgraded to 2 stars to give benefit of the doubt after Covid. Still wouldn't ever go back. Read more
I tried take-out here and the food was certainly top notch. At the time of order I found that most of their burgers come in all... types- veggie, chicken etc. I ordered Jalapeno Cheddar Veggie burger with yam fries and Nacho. In the past I have tried veggieburger at many places in Edmonton, but it is hard to find a place that serves tasty veggie burgers. Black Ship’s burger was ofprime quality and very yummy. I completely enjoyed their veggie burger. In Nacho as well everything was in right combination andof good quality. I definitely see myself going back there again in the future. Tried their Jalepeno Cheddar burger and was really impressed. You can taste the fact that they use prime rib for the patty and... it was a great burger for a reasonable price. I upped my side to get shoestring fries and it was definitely worth it. The staffwere kind and friendly - I really recommend giving this place a shot! While you can get curbside pickup via skipthedishes, Irecommend calling them directly :). Read more
If going for a domestic beer go for it but nothing on tap. Food was terrible, wouldn't recommend.
