Had a bulgogi pizza here a while ago which was very nice. Today a salmon pizza which was below any quality standard. 90% dough... and invisible, but some hints of salmon taste. When I told the waitress about it , the only response was \" sorry about that\". Zero interest in finding any kind of solution. Unfortunately standards have dropped off a cliff here. Read more
We were there on Sunday (yesterday) arrived at 6:30PM. Given menus and then told a few minutes later there\'s no pizza dough... left and the only thing we could order was salad.\n\nWe asked if we could order from the Toast menu for some of the sandwichesand were told no because the cook didn\'t know that menu so the only option was salad.\n\nPretty disappointed considering wewalked 30 minutes to get there for some food. The flavour choices for pizza are really good and I really like the flavour and texture of the crust. Happily in my top pizza... places across the city. Looking forward to trying a few more options soon. Read more
Wanted to try this restaurant. Google opening hours say Open Sunday\'s until 8pm.... We show up on location Sunday June 5th 2022... at 6:30pm.... CLOSED.\nEven if the sign on the door says they are open Sunday\'s until 8pm. Very disappointing when you setyour mind on trying this restaurant and end up at a LOCKED door. @toastcultureyeg just launched their pizza brand @birchandbearpizza and the pies are ????????\nTop: \"THE BEAR\" - MEAT LOVERS... (house-made fennel sausage, capicola, smoked meat,\npepperoni, tomato sauce, mozzarella & asiago)\nBottom: KOREAN BULGOGI BEEF(slow-cooked beef, kimchi, tomato sauce, green onion, sesame seeds, mozzarella & gochujang sauce)\nWhile I enjoyed both, Ireally liked how spicy the Korean beef was so I will probably ordering that one again next time. Great atmosphere and amazing food as well as service. They have lots of awesome beers and cocktails too. My lady friend and I... had a great time. I think I saw an oiler there, but didn?t wanna be a fan boy so I left him alone. I?ll never know what couldhave been? Read more
100% recommend. Favourite pizza in city! If you?ve tried their pizza at Toast, you?ll know it?s nothing short of delicious.. now... with a larger selection of pizzas at Birch and Bear, I will be ordering often! Read more
Dined here for the first time and was impressed with the quality of the pizzas. Tried several of the Bear pizzas and all were... good to excellent. The Sopressata and Meat Lovers were my faves. The dough they use is just fantastic. It\'s got a soft chewytexture, not greasy at all, and holds up better to toppings than Neapolitan style pizza. I\'ll definitely be back. Read more
