When we sat down I overheard the table next to us say that it was the best Thai they've ever had. Once our food arrived, I must... say that their comments were not unfounded. Even with the delicious meal, I'd have to say the best part about our experiencewas the service. The waitress gave great recommendations on the menu. We really enjoy this Thai restaurant! Good fresh ingredients with a authentic flavor ???? One of our favorites is the fried rice... which is prepared with a brown rice. We usually order shrimp, which is nice sized with tail on. Orders usually are accompaniedwith a small order of shrimp chips. This restaurant works quickly to accommodate ferry passengers as well. Ran in for the first time last weekend while waiting on the late ferry. Ordered chicken satay and Thai iced-tea at the front and... it was ready to go in 5 minutes. The server was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I stopped ordering Thai iced tea severalyears ago because it was always overly sweet. I am SO GLAD I ordered it from Thai by Day because it was absolutely delicious-the best I?ve ever had. Not too sweet, completely natural in flavor, and that salted dollop of cream on top? Incredible. This is now the ONLY Thai place we will go to. Organic Non-GMO tofu! Many ingredients are organic. They focus on clean... ingredients and grow their own fresh herbs. As gluten-free vegans we found a lot on this menu we could eat. It's very versatile.Excellent service, fresh flavorful food. The foods flavors are complex. This is by far the best Thai restaurant I have ever been. They use real crab in their wontons which have a kick to them. They... have a great variety on their menu.
