Yikes. I stopped here while waiting in line for the ferry. The lady in front of us in line wanted to take an item off the order... but the staff didn't know the password to take an item off or cancel it. They had to call a manager to get the code. This is Notthe staffs fault. This is a management issue. Then we got our food. Two peice Cod and chips and a cup of chowder. The chowderwas okay. The Cod was as someone said in another review "school cafeteria quality" AND it was over cooked. If I was not alreadyback in my car I would have taken it back. We just tossed the last peice of fish it was so bad. Not worth the stomach ache. Forthe price and quality I won't go back. Hope it improves in the future. Read more

I had a great meal of fish and chips at SPUD Fish and Chips while visiting family in the area. The two guys serving took good... care of me. I sat outside and watched the sun set over late Juanita as I enjoyed the food. When I come back I'm leaving room forchowder and clams. Read more

I used to love Spud - years ago. I've tried this one a couple times this year and won't try again. The fish is good. The fries... are soggy and greasy. $1.79 gets you about 1/4 cup of coleslaw and the cabbage is fresh but the sauce is barely there. Ifinished the pieces of cod but tossed everything else. Register woman was not particularly nice to the elderly woman ahead ofme. Read more

Basically school cafeteria quality fish and chicken. Mostly bread and grease. Chicken is very dry and probably comes from a bag... of frozens. Didn?t offer any sauce for the chicken strips. No napkins at the service window. Slow service. However, one of thebest milkshakes I have ever had, so there?s that. Also way overpriced for fried fish the width of a slice of bologna. Read more

My husband and I came here to grab some fish and chips. What we got was $60 of cash and carry pre made garbage. The food was... worth $15 at most. We paid $6 for like 6 onion rings. My halibut? Dry. The tartar sauce? Lack luster. Save your money. Gosomewhere better. Read more

This place was HORRIBLE! I spent $35 + $5 tip and I would love to get my $5 tip back (at a minimum). $23.50 was VERY overpriced... for 3 SMALL pieces of cod (& chips). And, they make you pay for tartar sauce! The clam chowder?.even worse! First of all, theydidn?t fill it close to the top of the container, so we automatically felt we were getting ripped off. Plus, it was scorched, watered down, and had no flavor. There were about 5 small pieces of clam & potato. I never complain, even when restaurant foodquality isn?t that good. But, I had to say something about the chowder. I told a young male worker that it was scorched. Ipolitely asked for my money back. This worker rudely asked if we had eaten any of it. I said, ?Yes, we wanted to at least tryit.? He stated, ?Since you?ve eaten some of it, I can?t give you any of your money back.? He absolutely refused to refund anyportion of the cost & offered no solution. REALLY?!! You call that good customer service?! I will never return to this place andI will certainly tell as many people as I can to AVOID THIS PLACE!!!! IT?S HORRIBLE!!! Read more

Y'all!!! I have found the best fish and chips in the PNW! (I've been on a personal mission for a little over a year now.) This... place is a quaint hole-in-the-wall-esque mom and pop fish joint that really gets the job done! The fish is hand-cut andhand-breaded. The cod has a well-seasoned, more of a home style breading while the halibut has that panko crunch that Iabsolutely love! (I accidentally ate the halibut before I could take a picture of it!) The prices are great and the people aregreat! My only wish would be for a house made tartar sauce. Keep up the great work! Read more

Amazing people and VERY tasty food! Don't miss this seaside family owned gem sporting the freshest of fish. Cara took care of... our order and was very welcoming. Upon complimenting the garlic aioli sauce, she relayed that it was a family recipe passed downto her. ???? The place itself was very clean and spacious. The couple of pinball machines with watery themes toward the backcompleted the wonderful ambience. If you enjoy seafood, you're in great hands here. Read more
