Reviews for Jaiiya Cafe in Edmonds, WA
The gentleman making my bowl of food was very deliberate. My interpretation of his efforts was that he cared. The baristas were... excellent. I stayed a few hours working remotely and every coffee was delicious. Thanks for the great experience and excellentfood! Read more
Love the cardamom hemp latte without vanilla syrup. The coffee has great flavor and is accommodated by the nuttiness of the hemp... milk and spices of the cardamom. I get this every time! The peanut butter power bowl is 15/10! I love a good açaí bowl andtheirs are perfect! My husband loves the David Lox on the croissant with the blue majik smoothie. Prices are fair and portionsare decent. Outdoor seating is available, gluten free and vegan options available, and outdoor seating. Close to edmondswaterfront, so it?s a nice way to start a date day! First time coming here. Not sure if today was an off day but I ordered the peanut butter bowl and this is what I received, there... was hardly any smoothie in the bowl. And it was $11.50 before a tip. However it tasted really yummy and staff was very friendly.I just couldn?t believe I spent $13 after tip on this. The pics I included was the bowl before anything was touched. This iswhat it looked like handed to me. Read more
This is a must go place every time I came to north side of Seattle???? I tried four of their bowls for now. All of them tastes... super good and really close to Hawaiian style. There is NO ADDED SUGAR. They are NOT too sweet and tastes super NATURAL, whichis amazing. Love it ???? Read more
Had a delightful snack/ brunch here one of those places that is not a full blown brunch place with mounds of food. I ordered... the Turkish eggs ($8.50) was Greek yogurt with dill, olive oil, garlic, topped with Aleppo pepper butter and 2 poached eggs, crispy toast. Initially a little surprised to see that warm poached eggs on cold yogurt (was thinking it would be more along thelines of mansaf aged yogurt sauce) but it was still yummy. I ate it fast before my eggs got cold ;) My friend ordered a BeetHummus Avocado Toast ($7.50) - it was good but they did not have the pickled onions so it was missing the sour taste that wouldhave completed it. But all in all it looked good, healthy and small enough not to fall into a food coma. Jaaiya makes a reallygood cardamom latte - it?s just perfect. Read more
There really aren't that many places that serve acai bowls in Seattle, or even Washington, and so it excites me to find places... that actually do make them because I love myself a super fresh and delicious acai bowl. I wanted to check this place out, andsee what they're all about before driving down to school. Originally I was just gonna get an acai bowl, but I ended up alsogetting an avocado toast, and a prosciutt of happiness just because they looked super good, and it would help hold me over forthe day. Man, when we were waiting for our food, and it was getting prepared, I could just smell the beautiful aroma ofwhatever they were making, even through my mask. It smelt so heavenly. I was just thinking, if the smell is anything like theflavors of the food, then I'm in for a real treat. Anyways, when we got our food, and opened up the box, it looked sobeautiful, and so aesthetically pleasing, but also looked very appetizing. First off, the prosciutt of happiness. This wasprobably my favorite dish of the morning, but it was a close race witg the avocado toast. But, I really love the name of thedish. Anyways, that butter croissant that they used as the bread was phenomenal. I really didn't expect the actual croissant tobe so flaky, buttery, and crisp. It definetly set the bar for the whole sandwich, but also on it's own, the croissant would bereally good, and yall know I love some good croissants. Every other component in the sandwich was super fresh, and there were somany different textures, and aromas and flavors that all worked together in harmomy to make a really solid sandwich. You havethe flakiness from the croissant, bitterness and frehsness from the arugala, and a creaminess and that pungent richness from thegarlic, and herbiness from the basil. For my liking, there was a bit much aioli and so I just got a huge mouthful of cream. Justa lot going on, but a lot going good for the sandwich. Then of course, the prosciutto and that poached egg! Went for brunch today, first time trying it. So happy we did! We ordered 2 pb bowls, ube dalgona, jaiiya cafe, cold press... vitality, David's lox sando, prosciutto sando, brussel sprout salad, turkish eggs. The pb bowl is so freaking good, the granolais so crunchy I am going to crave this everyday. The turksih eggs are also really outstanding, the herby yogurt is so tasty andthe 4 pieces of toasted walnut bread is the perfect vessel to get all that creamy goodness into your piehole. Vitality wasreally refreshing. David's lox sando is really really good as well. This places knows how to make poached eggs! I wish I hadknown there was tables outside, would have made my family come with me to eat everything fresh. The food held up pretty well forthe 13 minute drive home. I will be back! Read more
