The cake was delicious, but someone wasn?t good with the details?my son was doing me a HUGE favor (and going out of his way) to... deliver the froze cake at just the right time to a surprise birthday party. He had to make two trips to the bakery because theygave him a small cake instead of a large. Of course the surprise part was ruined for waiting on the large cake to be delivered. I hadn't had an ice cream cake in years and decided to get one for my birthday this year and wasn't disappointed by the one I... got at Cold Stone Creamery. I was able to pick out any flavor I wanted and in fact picked out a different flavor for each lairof the cake and could have as many crushed topping mixed in all for no extra cost. The overall cost was high, but the ice creamwas rich (which is a sign of quality ice cream) and both my wife and I found it to be much better tasting than Braum's. I don'tknow what the white frosting I picked out was made of, but it was very light so it allowed the ice cream to remain the dominantflavor which is what I wanted. Visited Coldstone when it was 20 degrees outside, and it was suprisingly packed. The employees handled everything with grace.... They offered me samples as if there wasn't a line. Very personable. I ordered dark chocolate, strawberries, and Butterfinger! Read more
